Hush: Death Hears
There's nothing more terrifying than being in a cabin in the middle of nowhere. More than that, it's a lurking killer, bent on getting in. But how to beat him? After all, our protagonist, the sweet writer Maddie Toung, can't scream or hear, but that doesn't make her any less able to fight for her survival.
In a veritable labyrinth of senses, we watch in desolation Maddie's desperate attempts to ask for help, fight and survive against a cunning killer, stronger and equally cruel. There is no time to breathe or even to reason in this truncated narrative, without relief. When it's all over, there's a real emptying out as we face the end credits. There is not much to say, after all, what is so special about this work is exactly the experience.

In an adaptation of the eponymous work of the current horror genius, Stephen King, Dangerous game (Gerald's Game) shows a couple who go to their vacation home to spend a period away from the daily life of the city. During their stay, they decide to play some unusual pranks during their caresses, including arresting Jessie (Carla Gugino) to bed, with each wrist handcuffed to the head of the bed. A fatal accident happens and the woman finds herself trapped — literally — in an unlikely scenario. In addition to being trapped, Jessie still has to fight her own mind.

Adelaide (Lupita Nyong'o) went through some childhood traumas and would like to forget them, but when she is convinced to spend some time at her family's beach house, the girl will have to face her demons again. Or is the truth too hard for her? The end of this intriguing film showcases one of the best facets of Peele's genius.

In the plot we follow how Chloe breaks free from her bonds and continues in the pursuit of her dream - and also to survive.

In our list of thriller movies and series, now let's see what are the best suggestions for this year's Halloween. There's nothing better than revisiting a classic that looks and feels like an old friend. This is the case of Scream, which repackages the horror and thriller franchise, Panic, very popular in the USA and Brazil at the end of the last century. The series was one of the last efforts of its original creator, Wes Craven, the name also behind the notorious The nightmare time.
All the formula present in Scream lives on in Scream too: a group of complicated, tangled, very beautiful and hormone-filled teenagers have to deal with their conflicts in the midst of a terrible threat: a serial killer that is lurking and the terrible killer swims. it is more than a myth that should be very well buried.
The law that no one is innocent until proven guilty fits very well here, as the viewer is not allowed to connect with its protagonists at any time. They move, run, smile and cry, but none of this guarantees that they are also capable of the worst actions for crooked reasons. And oh, and who's to say they can finish the season alive? Suspense is present sweating through every pore of this remake, which, for all intents and purposes, is a good tip for those looking for an unpretentious thriller without giving up the allure that permeates the genre.
