The 10 Most Anticipated Marvel and DC Films

After the launch of the new Batman and the series that make up the universe of Marvel after the events of Avengers: Endgame, it's only natural for fans to be looking forward to what's to come in the best of both worlds between DC e Marvel. Thinking about it, the IMDB conducted a survey among users and released the ten most awaited movies in the world of heroes. Check below the list that includes both films from DC, how many movies from Marvel.  

10.Batgirl 

The film does not yet have a release date, but it is slated to be released and produced by HBOMax. Anyway, the actress and singer Leslie Grace is doing a great campaign for the hyping of the film, posting here and there some previews in the skin of the Batgirl —Barbara Gordon, for the intimates. Next to her are JK Simmons returning to the role of Commissioner Gordon and Brendan Fraser as a villain. Behind the screens are El Arbi and Bilall Fallah as directors and Christina Hodson as screenwriter. 

9. DC League of Super Pets

Amazingly, the League of Super Pets It is one of the most anticipated films of the DC and not by chance. With a strong voice acting cast, including Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna e Keanu Reeves, the animation focuses on the pets of the greatest superheroes in DC. At least interesting, no? The film is scheduled to be released in Brazil later this year, on July 28.

8. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 

It's been five years since Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, then it is understandable that the Flight. 3 be one of the most anticipated films of the Marvel. It took a while, but it's coming, I promise. I mean, the forecast is for the feature to be released in 2023, but for those who waited years, one more is ok. However, to console fans, the Guardians will make some appearances in productions that will still be released this year 2022 as Thor: Love and Thunder (you can't even make suspense, it's clearly also on this list) and a special from Disney Plus scheduled for December. 

7. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom 

In this wave of postponed premieres, even though it is one of the most awaited films, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom had its release postponed to March 2023. What we know so far is that Aquaman (Jason Momoa) will have to face Black Manta (Yahya Abdul Mateen II) in that sequence. Recalling the post-credits scene of the first film, we will also have Randall Park continuing his character Stephen Shin, a biologist and theorist obsessed with Atlantis and everything that surrounds this mystical island. 

6. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

It is undeniable the prominence that the franchises of the most clumsy hero and good people have gained in recent years. So, to the delight of the fans, in Spider-Man: Through the Spiderverse it will be possible to delve deeper into this crazy multiverse. The first part of the feature is scheduled for June 2023, while part two can only be seen in March 2024. 

The script is in the hands of Phil Lord and Chris Miller, producers of the franchise, and David Callaham. The animated story will focus on Miles Morales (Shameik moore) and Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld, our Kate Bishop of live action). 

5. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Continuation of one of the best films of the Marvel, by the way, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is premised on the expansion of Wakanda. While the feature will be a tribute to the incredible Chadwick Boseman, actor who played T'Challa, he will also focus on characters who shared reality with Black Panther, such as Shuri (Letitia Wright).

Also, out of respect for Boseman, his character T'Challa will not be played by another actor and will not appear, much less digitally with special effects. Its premiere is scheduled for November 10, 2022. 

4. Black Adam

Well, after the revelation of Dwayne Johnson like the evil version of Shazam (Zachary Levi), there was a slight commotion among the fans that has lasted since the dc fandome of 2020. That is, Black Adam will have “The Rock” in the role of anti-hero and, I don't know about you, but for me that's enough to create a lot of expectations.

Furthermore, for the people who follow the comics, it is important to remember that finally the Justice Society will have time in front of the screens and will be integrated by Pierce Brosnan like Doctor Fate, Aldis hodge like Hawkman, Quintess Swindell like Cyclone and Noah Centineo like Atom Crusher. The movie is set to be released on October 20, 2022. 

3. Thor: Love and Thunder

As promised in spoiler at the top of the list, ranking third among the most anticipated superhero movies, is Thor: Love and Thunder. As far as we know, Thor has passed the baton to Valkyrie, who now rules Asgard, and has become that kin who needs to travel abroad to find herself in life.

In this case, he hitched a ride with the Star-Lord, extended this definition a little, and went to reflect the entire universe. One of the main reasons for hyping of the movie, it's definitely the return of Natalie Portman ao MCU like the great goddess that she is. Fortunately, the premiere of the feature is already at the door and can be seen from July 7 of this year, 2022. 

2. The Flash 

T, the fastest hero solo movie ever DC, will apparently have a slower and delayed debut. The film was pushed back to June 2023. But still, it's worthy of a second place on this list. In him, Ezra Miller returns to play Barry Allen, Sasha Street brings Supergirl and the actors to life Ben Affleck e Michael Keaton star in the nostalgia moment and return to their versions of Batman. I have no idea what can come out of this, but the expectation is huge. 

1. The first of the most anticipated movies 

It couldn't be any other name but Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Already in theaters since the beginning of May, the Marvel feature is doing everything: creating expectations in those who haven't seen it yet, generating thousands of theories for those who watched it and even creating a fight between the defenders of Wanda Maximoff, the mother of the year (reference for those who saw WandaVision) and those who aren't so keen on Scarlet Witch attitudes.

Finally, the film takes place after What If...?, Loki, Spider-Man: No Return Home e WandaVision. Here the multiverse of Marvel It's finally taken shape and is ready to mess with everyone's heads—Doctor Strange quality seal. With a touch aimed at the action line mixed with the terror of Sam Raimi, the film promises to deliver a different footprint from the previous ones.

In addition, there is a whole mystery around the characters of the multiverse that will give the air of grace. Professor X? Thanos' brother? Peggy Carter? Jean Gray giving Wanda a dick? A lot of questions for a movie that has everything to be the best superhero feature of the year.
