How much does the outfit cost? Fortnite and Balenciaga partner and give the characters a new look

Epic Games has one of the biggest phenomena in its hands in recent years and, to keep the entertainment going, revealed that Fortnite and Balenciaga are partnering to increase the cool of the hottest game of the moment. The collaboration starts today, September 21, and has excited players.

O battle royale will get new clothes for some characters and the items will be really inspired by real products from Balenciaga. The brand was created in 1919 by Cristóbal Balenciaga and, later, in 2001, it became part of the Gucci Group, another renowned European fashion house.

Fortnite and Balenciaga's partnership is not the first in which the brand has been involved in the gaming world. To debut the Fall 2021 collection, the team's developers built the game afterworld using the Unreal Engine graphics engine. "For me, it made perfect sense for us to collaborate further on creating these authentic Balenciaga looks for Fortnite and a new series of Fortnite physical clothing for our stores.“, said Demma Gvasalia, artistic director at Balenciaga.

A total of 4 characters will receive the collections: Ramirez, Knight, Doggo e Banshee. Besides formal and casual looks, we will also have backpacks, pickaxes, hang gliders, hats and sneakers. On the other hand, physical stores of the brand were also invaded by the game, which received exclusive items about the Epic title in branches around the world.

The partnership between Fortnite and Balenciaga is part of the “Photography” campaign and can be found at Item store of the game. The event will still have a special hub to parade and pose with your friends, with a series of objectives to be accomplished to win more prizes, but stay tuned, as the event will only be available between September 21st and 28th.
