Franz is an application that unites 10 messaging apps in a single hub. It supports WhatsApp, Telegram, Skype, Messenger, Hangouts, Slack and more. It is worth checking

The diversity of messaging apps that exist today is immense, and each app has a different purpose and purposes, so it's practically impossible to use just one for everything, despite the adherence of some to be much higher. Today the WhatsApp it is a tool for conversations and even for sales, for example.

However, it is common for companies to still use the Skype or Whatsapp to communicate, and development teams prefer the Slack ou Telegram because of the extensions and bots that the services have.

But let's be honest, it's a tiring task to have to install, or log into this multitude of apps every day to check messages. I use five different services, and this app that I present to you today fits my need to have everything in one place like a glove.

O French is a free messaging app created by a couple of Austrians that combines several of the most important messaging apps in one hub. It currently supports Slack, WhatsApp, WeChat, HipChat, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Google Hangouts, GroupM, Skype or Whatsapp e Grape. and is available for Mac, Windows e Linux.

It is a very useful tool not only because it allows you to add all these services in one hub, but for allowing you to add them numerous times. Do you have two WhatsApp accounts? No problem for Franz. According to the app's creators, you can use up to 5 Facebook Messenger accounts if you want. I don't know if this is the app's limitation, or just an example (I don't have 5 accounts to test).

Another factor in which Franz proves to be effective is in increasing productivity. Just imagine that you're going to take a five-minute break to check your messages, when you least expect it, you've been on Facebook for more than half an hour. With a single app with all your messages centralized, it's much easier to quickly check everything, filter what's important, respond and get back to work.

And will Franz be able to read my messages?

doubt me me

No, as interesting as the app is, it's basically a portmanteau of the browser version of all these services. So there's no reason to worry, when you authenticate to each message service you will be connecting directly with each one of them as if you were accessing it directly from the browser. The difference is that Franz saves space and some browser tabs.

Did you like the application proposal? Then download the version for Windows, Mac and Linux from the website project officer and be happy.

I'm waiting for a smartphone version right now...
