Game of Thrones: Here's How the "Battle of Hardhome" Scene Was Made

Game of Thrones had a fifth season much more controversial than the previous ones, not only for the content presented, but also for the changes that HBO made in relation to what is in the books, irritating many fans who read the books and follow the series. But among all the atrocities committed in the series, a sequel drew attention for its impeccable production and cinematic visual effects.

the battle of Hardhome it was one of the best scenes in the series and served to announce that winter is coming and it's terrifying, it's no wonder they've been talking about it since the first episode of the series. O King of the Night has an army that grows with each battle and showed all the terror it can cause, so the battle deserved all the attention. The wildlings fighting side by side with the Night's Watch and Jon Snow and his sword Longclaw defeating a white walker were the culmination.

But the entire production of the episode, which was the most expensive of the season, required a lot of special effects, with cinema quality and the studio responsible for the effects, El Ranchito Digital Image, released a video showing details of the montage of the scenes with lots of green screens and computer graphics, all to show this guy terrorizing general:

It's interesting to see how they blend things together to get a final result, using green screens, hands-on effects, and CGI effects to make the final scene look quality and real. Nice work by the team jedi from the studio!
