O GeForce Now, game streaming service from Nvidia, is now available on smart TVs from LG. The novelty, which arrives in beta this Friday (19), however does not include all branded televisions. Initially, only a few models of 4K OLED TV, QLED Mini LED e Nanocell released in 2021 will support the service. THE LG is the first brand of televisions to make the novelty available.
As it is still in beta, the service comes with some limitations to LG devices. At the moment, it is only possible to play at 1080p with 60fps. On PC and Mac it is possible to go further, with limits of 1440 to 120fps. In addition, the use of keyboard and mouse is restricted to navigation within the application, and cannot be used during games.
“The app will be available in beta starting this week on the LG Content Store on select LG 4K OLED, QNED Mini LED and NanoCell TV models in 80 markets. The app will allow LG TV owners with compatible TVs to instantly enjoy 35+ free games with just one compatible controller, with no additional hardware required.”

GeForce Now in Brazil
This way, the service has arrived officially in the month of october. Compatible with hundreds of games, the GeForce Now allows users to play their PC games on Steam, Epic Games Store e Ubisoft connect on any cloud-compatible PC, tablet and smartphone, with high-end PC quality and performance.
O GeForce Now reached the Brazilian market through abya, a company that today is focused on cloud games, which closed a partnership with NVIDIA to bring the platform to Latin America. Among the games available to Brazilian users are great titles, such as Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite, Apex Legends, The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition, Rocket League, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Valheim, Outriders, Among others.
A difference brought by GeForce Now is that, unlike other game streaming services like Xbox Game Pass, NVIDIA allows its users to buy games on Steam, Epic Games Store, among other platforms. On the Microsoft platform, the user only has a selection of their own games at their disposal, and cannot include games from other stores, for example.
Currently, GeForce Now has three different subscription plans:
- Free plan: with queue and more limited graphics (GTX)
- Monthly plan: BRL 44,90/month without a queue and RTX graphics
- Semiannual plan: BRL 40,50/month (BRL 243 per semester) without queuing and RTX graphics
A NVIDIA states that it plans to improve the current app by releasing updates in partnership with LG 2022 up.
