Geralt of Rivia arrives in Fortnite

The protagonist of the games, books and the hit series The Witcher, Netflix, landed today in Fortnite. Geralt, the legendary monster hunter, is part of the Chapter 4 Battle Pass of season 1, complementing the Series Legends of the Games within the universe of the mega success of Epic Games.

What to expect from the character's inclusion in Fortnite?

In addition to the skin, you will also be able to obtain various cosmetic items themed from The Witcher, such as Warlock Weapons, a spray based on one of the warlock's many abilities, Muscle Memory, the emote referring to the Igni Sign, in addition to a loading screen dedicated to it and the Sorcerer's Steel Sword Pickaxe. 

And how do you get all this?

All of this content can be unlocked by completing unique missions within the game after purchasing the Season 4 Chapter 1 Battle Pass. The first part of the Missions is already available in the game, and new ones will be activated on the 28th.

What else is there to do at the event? 

As part of this new themed content, all players will be able to take part in the School of the Llama's wizard training. By completing these challenges, each with four different paths with a series of tests and maps devised by the community, inspired by the witcher signs and world locations of the series games, rewards will be enabled within the game.

Prizes for passing the warlocks' tests include the Warlock's Silver Sword Pickaxe, a White Wolf-themed lobby song, a Wolf School spray, more Monster Hunter school emotes, and Signs of War icons and banners. How to access unpublished content within the game

The first of the four paths is available today and can be accessed via the game's official website. The next ones will be available between the 14th, 21st and 28th of February, in sequence.

That changed with the arrival of the second part of the saga, The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings, from 2011 that brought a much more refined game system, which ended up consolidating itself in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, named by many specialized publications as the best game of 2015.

The adventures of the yellow-eyed monster hunter didn't stop there. In 2018, a separate version of the card game contained in Wild Hunt, Gwent, had its debut.
