Facebook: how to add GIFs to your polls

Without much fanfare, Facebook has now allowed GIFs to serve as answer options in its polls; see how to do

Since no one stops Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook is testing a new feature that lets you use GIFs animated as options for a Poll. The idea is that, as a result, the answers to a given question are more precise and expressive. (https://bolivarescapes.com)

The new feature is slowly coming to users, but it is now available for apps Android, iOS and for the web version of the social network.

To use the feature, you just need to create a new poll and, instead of writing options in text, use the 'add GIF'.

From there, a vast option of images appears for you to use: it is possible to ask a question, for example, and put the answer options as 'Nooooo', Where 'yessss' – in this way, whoever answers your question will be able to do it with much more expressiveness, demonstrating with which of the two reactions identified more.

It is important to remember that, in addition, it is possible to choose a duration limit for the poll, choosing between intervals of one day, one week, one month or simply 'never'.

More engagement in responses

Although not revolutionary at all, the surveys has gained space on social media. This is because, in addition to bringing objective answers and pre-selected, make it possible to determine more precisely the opinions of a group, including separating those who are majority or minority.

And as we know, Facebook is stubborn for knowing what we are thinking.

Now, with the addition of GIFs, these answers can be even more accurate, letting you, who answer the question, be much clearer about how you see a certain subject – and without having to make a textile for that. For those who ask, the possibility of having GIFs in a poll can attract more attention, causing more people to respond.

In the last month, a similar feature arrived at the section Stories from Instagram. O Twitter, in turn, also has the feature - but just like it is on Instagram, you can't add GIFs as answer options.
