O Google never fails to celebrate special dates with their doodles. The animations and games celebrate special dates like the new year and honor others such as the birthday of the world wide web, in addition to the birthdays of several Brazilian personalities such as Clarice Lispector, Master Bimba e Carolina Mary of Jesus.
The company also has a tradition of spreading jokes on the 1st of April annually. Since the internet is full of jokes and pranks from April Fools' Day, Google doesn't stay out.
In 2015, for example, the company launched the Pac-Man No. Google Maps. You could escape the ghosts and eat the fruits on the streets of your neighborhood. The game worked so well that it was repeated in 2017.
