Google Maps now has an emergency alert

O Google added another service to the Google Maps: The Google Public Alerts. Still in beta phase e unavailable for our language, the service has detailed information about emergency situations around the world, caused by natural phenomena.

Flood, earthquakes, snow storms, tornadoes, among other phenomena, are cataloged and recorded in the service, informing severity, if there are help centers nearby and what measures are being taken.. There is also the possibility of searching, through keywords or in the alert points on the map, all kinds of information.
