Google Photos gets new function after Android update
What's New in Google Photos

The function was announced by Google on March 2nd and is being well received by photography lovers who were waiting for more news in the app.

“Now, when you open photo editing in Google Photos and choose an image, we will not only correct the exposure and saturation, but also automatically fix the white balance. And if you want to explore the function a little more, go to Color and Temperature Adjustments,” said Tracey Utley, programming manager for Google Photos, in a note.

The update has already started to appear for android users – to know if you have already received the news, when you open the application, you will see the option “Automatic White Balance”. Now, too, it is possible to see the color saturation and automatic exposure corrections.

Thanks to these options, Android smartphone owners will be able to adjust basically all tones of an image, regardless of whether the click was made indoors or out, as the White Balance option will make adjustments in just one tap.

More quality for photos

The new version of the application also brings dynamic filters that can improve the image. In the advanced functions, the user can even change the color and light function, which allows an “innovative slider dark blue that adds color to the water and the sky.”

Another novelty that will arrive soon, and was discovered in the data of the Google Photos, is that the application will get an update that will allow users to edit movies easily. The version with these functions for iOS, however, it does not have a date to arrive and only received a “logo” from the company.
