
Google Photos now lets iOS users do automatic backups and see their live Photos directly in the app.
Owners of iPhone 6S e iPhone 6S Plus now you can enjoy one of the best features of Google Photos, the automatic backup of photos and videos for your live Photos. Google made the official announcement in a tweet on the app's official account:
The latest version of the application for the iOS finally supports the Live Photos format, nearly six months after Apple rolled out the new feature on the last iPhone.
The numbers released by Google show that the application really fell in the taste of users, as the number of users grew by more than 100 million in less than a year. For iOS users this means being able to backup their Live Photos for free without the risk of maxing out the 5GB that the iCloud available free of charge.
Other Google apps have also been updated to follow the new versions of Apple's operating systems, such as Youtube, Chrome and Google Drive.
This move shows that the Google has been thinking more and more about iPhone users and wanting even more to retain users, regardless of device or platform.
