Government of SP launches Poupatempo Digital app with more than 60 public services

The Government of the State of São Paulo has launched an application of the Saves time that have more than 60 public services. Called Digital Poupatempo, citizens will be able to use the tool to consult and request services without having to go to a service center.

Among the services offered, it is possible to request a duplicate of the CNH (National Driver's License), Work Card, Medical Record Certificate, access Unemployment Insurance, use Sabesp's services, request a criminal record certificate, in addition to checking the quality of the air through Cetesb and view the status of the Metro and CPTM lines.

For Ernesto Mascellani Neto, Superintendent of Prodesp (technology company of the government of São Paulo), the application Digital Poupatempo arrives, mainly, to help citizens who are confined at home due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19). Although remotely, the objective is to keep the services provided by the state, as well as the prefectures, in operation. 

“We want to be increasingly present in the lives of the population to bring facilities. At a time when social distancing is the most efficient measure to combat the spread of COVID-19 and face-to-face service at the units is temporarily suspended, Prodesp innovated with the implementation of quick and efficient measures so that citizens can solve their pending issues with safety and without leaving home”

said Ernesto Mascellani, Superintendent of Prodesp.

To access it, just use the same login that you already use to access the website of the Saves time. If you still don't have access, enter the application and click on "enter". Then go to “Register here” and fill in the form with your personal information. 

When accessing the app, clicking on “Services”, you will find menus such as Personal Documents, Work and Employment, Housing, Vehicles, Education, Water, Sewage and Sanitation, and City Halls. Then, just click on that and proceed with your request. If desired, it is also feasible to add these menus in a “favorites” area. 

“Using it is quite easy and intuitive, even making it possible to edit the main screen with the services that most interest users”

said Ernesto Mascellani, Superintendent of Prodesp.

In all, nine organs are available to users of the new application. Check out the function of each of them below.

  • DMV/SP (São Paulo State Department of Traffic), which is responsible for managing everything that involves drivers' licenses, National Driver's License (CNH), as well as infractions, Driving Schools, among others;
  • Secretary of Finance and Planning, whose function is to manage the collection of taxes in the State, such as IPVA, ICMS and ITCMD;
  • CDHU (São Paulo State Housing and Urban Development Company), which takes care of affordable housing for low-income people;
  • Secretary of Economic Development, responsible for the economic development of the state of São Paulo, working to attract investment, support entrepreneurship and bet on technology;
  • Secretary of Education, responsible for managing the entire education system in the state of São Paulo;
  • IIRGD (Identification Institute Richard Gumbleton Daunt), an agency linked to the Secretariat of Public Security that manages criminal records;
  • Sabesp (São Paulo State Sanitation Company), a company that provides water and sewage treatment in São Paulo;
  • Subway (São Paulo Metropolitan Company)) to CPTM (São Paulo Metropolitan Train Company), responsible for the transport of rails in São Paulo;
  • Cetesb (Environmental Company of the State of São Paulo), a São Paulo government agency that helps monitor air quality in addition to controlling and inspecting activities that generate pollution.
