House of the Dragon: HBO Max releases Fire and Blood trailer

The fans of Game of Thrones can finally turn their gaze to House of the Dragon and forget about the bitter ending that the original series left — or at least try to. This Wednesday (20/07) — almost a month to go until its big debut — the HBO released the official trailer for the production based on the work Fire & Blood, George RR Martin, which tells the story of the Targaryen family, about 200 years before the events of GoT. O spin off arrives at the platform streaming HBO Max on August 21 of that year and will have 10 episodes.

if in Game of Thrones the main enemy was the coming winter, in house of dragon fire is the greatest terror, and it runs in the blood of the Targaryens. But the Iron Throne remains much sought after, and sitting on it will take much more than royal blood in the golden age of dragons. The series will depict the civil war raging between the members of House Targaryen for the rise of a new king, or queen.

No trailer, we can see the first objections concerning the succession to the Iron Throne occupied by King Viserys Targaryen. Her daughter, Princess Rhaenyra, has her right to the throne contested — as a woman — in favor of her uncle, Prince Daemon. And the result of this conflict is obvious: fire, blood and of course, lots of dragons.

Production and Casting of House of the Dragon

The first spin off of GoT is the creation of showrunners ryan condal (colony) to Miguel Sapochnik who was also responsible for Game of Thrones. The main cast of House of the Dragon includes Matt Smith like Prince Daemon Targaryen, Emma D'Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Paddy considine like King Viserys Targaryen, Olivia Cooke like Alicent Hightower, Rhys Ifans like Otto Hightower and steve toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon.

And have no doubts when the grandeur of the series The prequel which is one of the most anticipated of 2022 and arrives with the mission to please the demanding fans of the franchise. Each episode will cost HBO nearly $20 million, which is certainly $5 million more than each episode of the eighth and final season of GoT, which was a worldwide hit.
