After announcing the new smartwatches on the international market, HUAWEI, at an event held in Brazil, brought the new Watch 5, Watch Fit 4 e Watch 4Pro to the Brazilian market. In addition to a new sensor in the more expensive model, both releases have a long battery life to operate for days. Find out all the details.
Clear Sync

The service Clear Sync arrives to allow the same phone number to be used on a smartwatch. Previously, even if you had a plan with a larger internet package, the user still needed to use a new number just for the smartwatch.
The idea of the functionality, until then only released to customers of Clear, is that the user stops depending on the smartphone to have internet on the smartwatch, when using the router. Despite being mentioned at the HUAWEI event for the Watch 5, Claro Sync can be used by owners of Apple Watch, Galaxy Watch and other smartwatches that support eSIM.
The activation process is done via the smartwatch configuration app and you must have the eSIM QR Code on hand. The company states, on the service page, you just need to have a postpaid plan to be eligible to receive a virtual chip.
Huawei Watch 5
Design

Aimed at enthusiasts, the HUAWEI Watch 5 will be released in two sizes: the 46mm model comes in purple, silver and black; the 42mm model will be released in beige only. Both models feature a titanium case and bracelet, with the larger variant weighing up to 63 grams and the smaller variant weighing up to 48 grams. The 46mm case is made of aerospace-grade titanium, while the 42mm case is made of 904L stainless steel.
HUAWEI explains that the design of its new premium smartwatch was inspired by the Karmán lines, used by scientists to define where the universe begins. In addition to the circular shape, it also has a rotary button for navigation, but its touchscreen allows complete navigation through the system. Which brings us to the next topic.
Meeting the demands of the most enthusiastic public, the device has IP69 protection, which allows it to continue working even if it is placed in environments with more extreme temperatures (hotter or colder) and also submerged in up to 1,5 meters deep in fresh water for up to 40 minutes.
Fabric

Both sizes of HUAWEI’s new smartwatch feature an LTPO AMOLED display with 3.000 nits peak brightness and support for 1 billion color display. The 46mm case has a 1,5-inch display, while the 42mm case has a 1,38-inch display. The resolution is also the same on both: 466×466.
The spherical glass of the screen is made of Sapphire in both models, the same as the Galaxy Watch Ultra, which should gain a new successor in July, at Samsung's next big event. The idea here is that the device offers high resistance in the practice of various exercises: from yoga to swimming.
System and interface

The HUAWEI WATCH 5 runs Harmony OS, an operating system developed by the Chinese company itself for its devices following sanctions in the US, which resulted in the termination of the partnership with Google and the official use of its operating system (in the case of smart watches, WearOS).
Function management and health data can be viewed in the app HUAWEI Health, which the company says shows complete reports, both in Android, as in iOS. Buyers of the new smartwatch will receive 3 free months of HUAWEI Heatlh+, which gives you access to a wide range of exclusive benefits, such as exercise courses for beginners and advanced users.

Another interesting feature of the operating system is the gesture function. By double-tapping with your fingers (pinch movement), you can answer calls, turn off alarms, control music and even take photos with your phone from a distance. The gesture of passing your thumb over your index finger twice also allows you to control operating system functions. See:
HUAWEI says this was possible due to a high-performance NPU (chip for AI activities) present in the processor. Kirin H19200V100 (own production) of its smartwatch, the first in the brand's devices.
sleep monitoring
Sleep monitoring on the HUAWEI Watch 5 is one of the most robust health features, utilizing technology HUAWEI TruSleep 4.0 to offer a detailed analysis of your rest.
The watch automatically identifies sleep stages – deep, light, REM and waking moments – and analyzes crucial metrics such as heart rate and blood oxygen (SpO2) during sleep, Besides the quality of breathing, which can help detect potential nighttime problems.
All this data is processed and presented clearly in the application. HUAWEI Health, which offers a sleep score, detailed analysis and personalized suggestions to improve your sleeping habits. Plus, the watch’s “Sleep Mode” ensures you won’t be disturbed while you’re resting.
Exercise monitoring
The HUAWEI Watch 5 is a robust and accurate training partner, ideal for tracking your fitness activities. It offers over 100 training modes, ranging from the most common, such as running and swimming, to 14 professional level sports, including golf and snorkeling.
During any activity, the watch ensures a accurate and real-time tracking of your movements, providing crucial data such as distance, pace and calories. For your convenience, it has automatic exercise detection, identifying and alerting you to start recording activities like walking and running, even if you forget to turn it on. Like other models, automatic detection happens for walking, running, elliptical and rowing.
One of the great advantages of outdoor activities is the HUAWEI Sunflower Positioning System, which provides a 35% higher location accuracy compared to the previous generation, ensuring extremely accurate route mapping. In addition to recording, the Watch 5 offers in-depth performance analysis, such as running form data and recovery time suggestions, helping you train smarter and more effectively.
health monitoring

The big news about the smartwatch is the sensor HUAWEI X-Tap, located next to the rotary knob. It works to provide quick health information, requiring you to touch your fingertip in just 3 seconds to receive information about ECG, heart rate and even blood oxygen level (SpO2).
The watch tracks your heart rate 24/7 with high accuracy. It can detect and alert you to abnormal heart rates, whether they are too high or too low, which can be an important indicator of heart problems.

At any time of the day, the watch can display practical information about your health, through a feature called Health Insights. You will be able to view your stress levels and even receive alerts when your levels are out of the ordinary.
For people with a uterus, the Watch 5 provides a convenient feature to record and predict the phases of your menstrual cycle, helping you plan and understand your health. The watch can also track other relevant data such as your daily physical activity level, number of steps, calories burned and reminders to get up and move, encouraging a more active lifestyle.
Connectivity

The new watch comes with NFC support, which can be used for a variety of tasks. However, despite this, the device still does not support contactless payments, even though it has NFC, since it would be necessary to use options such as Google Pay or Apple Wallet, both owned by US companies.
Other connectivity features include support for Wi-Fi 6, GPS e Bluetooth 5.2 for connection with smartphones (Android and iPhone). The watch also supports eSIM and supports the Claro Sync service, ready to receive a virtual chip.
Battery

The battery life of HUAWEI smartwatches has always been a highlight, and that would not change with this launch. The company mentioned at its event in São Paulo that the 46 mm model can last for 4,5 days with more intense use, or up to 3 days if the Always On Display is activated. The 42 mm model works for 3 days with more intense use or 2 days if the Always On Display is activated.
The most interesting thing is the way Energy saving, which can be activated with just one touch of the screen. The larger model lasts up to 11 days, but also delivers 7 days of typical use. The smaller model lasts up to 7 days, but five days of typical use.

HUAWEI Watch 5 supports fast wireless charging. With just 15 minutes of charging using the HUAWEI WATCH Wireless SuperCharger (2nd generation) charger included in the box, you already have a good dose of autonomy for the day. A full charge can take about 80 minutes.

Watch Fit 4 and Watch Fit 4 Pro
Design

Moving on to a different category, the line Watch Fit 4 comes with simple changes, but which can make a difference in your day-to-day life. Starting with the design, the Watch Fit 4 standard arrives with a small difference of 1 additional gram compared to the previous generation model. It also has a 43 mm case, as for the Fit 4 Pro has a 44mm case.
Another detail of the most complete model is in the structure: in addition to having aerospace aluminum case and titanium bezel, this is the thinnest smartwatch ever launched by HUAWEI, just 9,3 mm thick.

About the colors, the HUAWEI Watch Fit 4 will be released in purple, gray, white and black. See each of them below:

Already Watch Fit 4 Pro arrives on the market in just three colors: green, blue and black.

They look quite similar specifically and the biggest changes are in the sensors and screen brightness.
Fabric

Both new HUAWEI smartwatches arrive in Brazil with the same screen 1,82 inch, but there are some differences: the traditional model has a peak brightness of 2.000 nits and a traditional glass.
Already Watch Fit 4 Pro has a sapphire glass screen, more resistant against possible impacts in everyday life. And the model also has peak brightness of 3.000 nits, for better use on sunnier days.
The screen of both has a black border so that all information can be seen from different angles, in addition to having touchscreen support that allows navigation throughout the system with just a few touches.
System and interface

The HUAWEI Watch Fit 4 runs the HarmonyOS, which offers a intuitive, fluid and easy to use interface, being compatible with Android and iOS, also via the HUAWEI Health app.

sleep monitoring

The new HUAWEI Watch Fit 4 and Fit 4 Pro stand out in the wearables market with sleep monitoring extremely detailed and accurate, using technology HUAWEI TruSleep. More than just recording hours of sleep, these smartwatches delve deeper into analyzing your night.
Devices like the HUAWEI Watch Fit 4 don’t just identify sleep stages – deep, light and REM – and awakenings. They go further, providing crucial metrics such as Average Sleep HRV (Heart Rate Variability), which helps you understand your stress level and recovery.
Another important difference is the constant monitoring of SpO2 (blood oxygen) levels and respiratory frequency, with the ability to issue alerts about abnormal breathing patterns which may indicate health problems.
All this data is synchronized with the HUAWEI Health app, which not only presents the information clearly but also offers custom recommendations to improve your sleeping habits.
Exercise monitoring

Both models have the same support for sports tracking and are complete partners for exercise tracking, offering a intelligent and adaptable for all levels of physical activity.
With over 100 training modes, the watches cover everything from walking and running to swimming and golf (the latter with built-in maps on the Pro model). They offer customizable training plans and a AI coaching that optimizes performance in real time and post-workout. In addition, they can automatically detect up to four sports: walking, running, elliptical and rowing.
Accuracy is guaranteed by Dual antenna GPS (GNSS L1+L5), which tracks routes and distances with high accuracy, and continuous heart rate monitoring. For aquatic adventurers, the Watch Fit 4 Pro stands out with 5 ATM water resistance and IP68 certification, supporting dives of up to 40 meters and including a depth sensor.

After each activity, the HUAWEI Health app provides a detailed analysis, helping the user understand their performance, identify areas for improvement and manage recovery, consolidating the Watch Fit 4 as an essential tool for any exercise routine.
health monitoring
The HUAWEI Watch Fit 4 and Fit 4 Pro function as complete health monitoring hubs, offering a wide range of features for everyday well-being. Both models provide continuous monitoring of heart rate, monitor the levels of SpO2 (blood oxygen) and analyze the stress level with breathing exercises. And there is also tracking of the menstrual cycle and a better mental health assistant, which includes training and well-being analysis at different times of the day.
The big difference, however, is in the Watch Fit 4 Pro, that includes support for Electrocardiogram (ECG). This feature allows the detection of signs of common cardiac arrhythmias, such as atrial fibrillation, offering an extra layer of cardiac care, something not available in the standard version of the Watch Fit 4.
It is worth remembering that the Watch Fit 4 Pro also comes with a skin temperature sensor, used to measure sleep and control the menstrual cycle. This sensor can also be used to request various health details.
All data collected is detailed in the HUAWEI Health app, providing the user with a clear view of their health and personalized insights for improvement.
And finally, it's worth mentioning TruSense, the health tracking that, in the Watch Fit 4, combines advanced sensors and AI for accurate health monitoring. It enables functions such as measuring heart rate, SpO2, stress and detailed sleep. In Watch Fit 4 Pro, TruSense is enhanced to support ECG and skin temperature sensor, improving the accuracy of your health monitoring.
Connectivity

The models are simpler in terms of connectivity: both come with Bluetooth 5.2 to connect to smartphones, but there is no possibility of using eSIM. And they also do not have Wi-Fi, depending entirely on the smartphone to receive additional information.
However, it has integrated GPS, which sends data to the HUAWEI Health app as soon as exercise monitoring is completed by the user.
Battery

Both deliver the same battery life, although they have features that may require a little more energy than the other. The company cites the following durations on the models' official websites:
- Up to 10 days with moderate use
- Up to 7 days in typical mode
- Up to 4 days with Always On Display
Charging is done wirelessly, an improvement over the Watch Fit 3, which has magnetic charging. The company also mentions that the Watch Fit 4 (standard) charges in about 1 hour and 15 minutes, while the Watch Fit 4 Pro can charge in approximately 1 hour.
