Huawei Watch GT 3
Direct competitor of Galaxy Watch4, which was launched by Samsung last year, the new smart watch from Huawei arrives on the market from today (07) with interesting functions for different types of users. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or you already have practice with smartwatches, you'll definitely be taking advantage of all the functions of this model.
Design and canvas
A Huawei chose to develop two models with a swivel crown for its new line of smartwatches. The 42 mm model hits the market with a screen AMOLED color of 466 x 466 pixels and measuring 1,32 inches, with its bracelet measuring 20 mm.
Enhancing the experience, the smaller version's display is able to reflect light instead of absorbing it, which allows for a better view of information. The manufacturer also pointed out that the panel of the Huawei Watch GT3 42mm has a 3D curved glass. The case measures 10 mm thick and weighs approximately 35 g without the strap.

Speaking of the 46 mm model, the screen AMOLED it also has 466 pixels, with the size of 1,43 inches. The case of the largest version is 11 mm thick, weighing approximately 42,6 g without the strap. The bracelet of the largest variant has a width of 22 mm. O Huawei Watch GT3 hits the market with six color options, three for each watch size.

The case of both models is developed in sapphire and the sensors that monitor health information are on the back. Asked about a possible separate sale of bracelets, the Huawei stressed that this is in his plans, but there is no way to buy more options at the moment.
Operational system
contrary to Galaxy Watch4, Samsung, which has the Wear OS do Google, Huawei Watch GT 3 hits the market with HarmonyOS 2, which was developed by the Huawei. The use of the watch will be adapted according to the type of training performed by the user, and one of the highlights is the Smart Race Plan, which develops adjustable contents according to the heartbeat. The new watch Huawei also provides safety guidance for outdoor training. You will know about sunrise time, tide time, moon phases and receive bad weather alerts.
Huawei Health App
Using the operating system SmartWatch is complemented by the use of Huawei Helth, application that is available for Android e iOS and, according to the company itself, it is already used by more than 280 million people in 180 countries.

It is possible to have access to deeper data about your health, as well as information about the last workouts you performed. The same application can be used as a large control center for more products manufactured by Huawei, such as smart scale and/or other versions of smartwatches released in previous years.
Sensors and location system
To ensure that you have access to as much information as possible, the Huawei chose to put six sensors in its new smartwatch. Are they:

Getting into the subject of location, there are four satellite systems in the company's new smart watch: GPS, GLONASS, Galileo e Beidou. The sensors can not only record every step you take when training, but also suggest return paths, useful on natural trails where the user can get lost.
Storage, performance and battery
The processor of both versions is the Cortex-M, ARM, and the internal storage is 4GB. The manufacturer confirmed that in addition to being used for installing applications, this memory can also save music. This ensures that you don't have to take your cell phone with you when doing your training. RAM memory can be an issue: there's only 32 MB for apps to work.

Talking about the battery, this is for sure the main highlight of the new smart watch from Huawei. As we said at the beginning of the article, the 46 mm model can work for 14 days without having to go back to charging, which by the way, is carried out wirelessly. The manufacturer points out that this can vary greatly from user to user, but in tests with sensors activated for about half an hour each day, battery life reached 14 days.
The battery of the smaller model lasts half that time, reaching 7 days. The autonomy can also vary according to the use of the sensors.
Connectivity
with an antenna Bluetooth, the smart watch can connect with smartphones with Android e iOS. After pairing is done, you can see notifications from your cell phone on the watch screen, in addition to being able to answer calls if the smartphone is within 100 meters. You can also connect headphones to the Huawei Watch GT 3 to listen to songs.
Unfortunately, neither of the two versions of the SmartWatch arrives in Brazil with support for eSIM. If you need the internet to save new music or even reply to people in messaging apps through Huawei Watch GT 3, you will need to use a Wi-Fi network. A variant with eSIM may be launched by the company in the future, but the entire approval process with the Anatel did not allow it to arrive in time.
