iFood and RestauranteWeb merge and create online delivery giant

The two biggest brands of ordering food at home through apps or the computer decided to come together to create a giant of delevery in Latin America. O iFood, the Brazilian leader in online delivery, and the RestaurantWeb, the country's second largest in the segment in Brazil, will unify services under the iFood!

The new company forecasts gross sales of 1 billion reais by the end of 2015. With the union of the brands, the market share of the iFood will be 80%. Brazil is already among the top 10 online delivery markets in the world.

order food for one click from mobile or website is already the reality for more than five million Brazilians. The growth forecast in the country for the next five years is ten times higher, driven by the growth of smartphones and the mobile internet.
