Registration for the 2024 Olympics tickets closes tomorrow

Sports fans who want to be present at the biggest sporting event in the world, the Paris 2024 Olympics, you have until tomorrow, Wednesday (31), to participate in the draw that will give you the right to buy game tickets. When do the 2024 Olympics start?

Even though there is still more than a year to go before the start of the Paris Olympic Games, the Executive Council that organizes the games, already has the calendar ready since 2022. Despite the official date for the Opening ceremony scheduled for the 26th of July, the first competitions will start on the 24th of the same month, two days earlier.

On these two dates, the collective events will begin, with the soccer and ruby ​​teams entering the field to represent their countries. However, the first medals are scheduled to be awarded on July 27th, in eight different sports: cycling, with women's and men's time trials, judo, fencing, diving, rugby sevens, shooting, swimming and skateboarding.

Already the last day of Paris 2024, August 11th, will highlight several female sports. Wrestling, weightlifting, track cycling and the basketball final are some of the sports that will end on that date. However, for the first time since it was introduced into the Olympic Games calendar, the women's marathon will be the last event before the Closing Ceremony.
