Instagram Stories attacks Snapchat and introduces Face Filters

O Instagram announced this week another novelty that is the face of Snapchat. Known as Filter Faces, Mark Zuckerberg's photo and video social network now lets users use filters on your images.

A few years ago, this novelty was called Lenses by Snapchat, but according to Instagram VP of Products Kevin Weil, “this is how the tech industry has always worked.” He said this in an interview with the TechCrunch.

“Good ideas start in one place and spread across the industry. Kudos to Snapchat who adopted it for being the first to create Stories, but it is a format and will be used sparingly on a number of other platforms.”

Os Instagram Face Filters are simple to use. When accessing the Stories camera, tap the face in the lower right corner and choose the one you prefer. It works on both videos and photos. Another novelty launched by the application is Rewind, which leaves your videos backwards.

Unlike the Snapchat function, this does not record the sound of the voice, so you need to use creativity for your videos in reverse.

To share single images, the Instagram added a rubber in the photo editing area. After painting the photo you just took with one color (or several), use the fourth button in the upper right corner (the eraser) to customize your image.
