Photos app integration with iCloud comes to Windows 11

O Windows 11 arrived a few months ago and those users who use both the Microsoft system and the Apple ecosystem can already thank you, as the Photos app now has integration with Apple's iCloud. The announcement was made today by Dave Grochocki, product manager of Windows Inbox Apps, including informing that until the end of November all users will be covered by the novelty.

The application Photos newly updated in Windows 11 has been carefully crafted to make it easy to organize your photo collection, no matter where your photos and videos come from — your phone, your camera, your cloud storage, photos from iCloud, OneDrive and many other sources.

Many Windows customers have photo and video collections on their iPhones that they would like to be able to view on their PCs. This integration with iCloud will make work easier for those who have a iPhone get direct access to all records in photos and/or videos in an organized location. According to Microsoft, “this is another step in our ongoing efforts to make Windows 11 experiences seamless.".

To bring your Photos from iCloud to the Photos app, make sure the Photos app is up to date and install the app iCloud for Windows, all from the Microsoft Store🇧🇷 From there, log in and choose to sync your photos, and all your iCloud content will automatically appear in the Photos app on your PC!

This iCloud integration in Windows 11 is part of a larger app update Photos for the operating system that also includes a new gallery view, which gives you a different way to browse your photos.
