Apple launches iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus with 4,7 and 5,5 inch screens!

At an event in California, the company presented the new iPhone 6 with a 4,7-inch screen and the 6 iPhone Plus, a 5,5-inch phablet. It's Apple's answer to Asian manufacturers that have been gaining market share with ever-larger devices.

Until the 4S model, Apple's smartphone screens were only 3,5″. Only in the last version, the size jumped to 4 inches. The iPhone 6 has a resolution of 1334×750 pixels with a Retina HD. In the Plus model, the resolution jumps to 1920×1080, that is, Full HD.

Apple has once again outdone itself in the evolution of devices. The new models are the thinnest ever produced by the company with 6.9 and 7.1 millimeters on the largest model.

Processor and battery

The processor has also become more powerful. Both smartphones are equipped with the A8 chip developed by Apple itself. They are 50 times faster than those used in the first version of the device.

The A8 chip is capable of processing information 25% faster and graphics up to 50% faster than the iPhone 5.

One of the biggest problems with the iPhone is battery life. Apple also promises changes in this regard. According to the company, the device is 50% more energy efficient, enabling better performance with longer battery life.

Camera

The new models have the iSight camera of 8MP, ƒ/2.2 aperture and a new sensor capable of recording images with higher quality.

The system allows you to focus more quickly and with better quality, avoiding blurry images. Focus Pixels was a technology present until now only in professional cameras.

LTE 4G connection

The good news is that Apple smartphones are now compatible with the LTE networks of 200 carriers around the world. Although he did not specify which ones, there is a great chance that Brazil will be among the chosen ones. Thus, even devices purchased abroad will be able to browse the 4G network Brazilian

In the United States, for 2-year contracts with operators, the iPhone 6 It will cost $199 for the 16GB version, $299 for the 64GB version, and $399 for the 128GB version.

Already 6 iPhone Plus starts at $299 and goes up to $499 with the most memory. The devices will be available from the 19th of September in the United States, France, Hong Kong, Canada, Germany. Singapore, UK, Australia and Japan. Pre-sale starts on the 12th. Apple did not disclose release dates for other countries, including Brazil.
