Check this out: Player uses baguette to play Overwatch: Ever thought about playing this amazing FPS using a loaf of bread with motion capture?

The video game industry has certainly had many unusual designs and models of joysticks, but using a baguette of bread as a controller for a game is unprecedented. Game developer and big FPS fan Overwatch, dylan beck, used all his genius and creativity to adapt a baguette as a sniper rifle for use in the game.

the power of the baguette

For readers who don't know much about the story behind the Overwatch universe, it's important to know that the most famous sniper in this multiplayer game is known as Widowmaker. She is tall, beautiful, deadly, a fan of optical viewfinder technology and French. So Dylan created the perfect way to honor her with motion-based control made entirely from a French baguette.

In the video above you can see Dylan in front of his computer testing out his new creation. From what we can see, the boy uses a circuit board attached to the baguette to capture movements and allow him to simulate the use of a sniper rifle in the game, as well as a directional pad to control the character's movement and a trigger to take the shots.
It is not the first time that the world of games has discovered bizarre ways of creating or adapting different objects as game controls, as it has already been shown that the sensor bar of the Wii, for example, could be replaced by two lit candles, as the infrared sensor of the Wiimote detects heat and light.
He has already promised that very soon he will perform a live through his Twitch channel to put his bizarre controller to use. If the experiment really works, only a few doubts remain in the minds of anyone who sees Dylan's creation. What happens if the baguette becomes aged and hard? What will he do if he gets hungry or someone decides to make a sandwich with his controller?
