An unusual partnership between Nintendo and NVIDIA has brought some classic titles to the Shield Android TV.

In China, whoever buys the Android TV da NVIDIA, you can play some classic titles like New Super Mario Bros. Wii, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Punch-Out. The game Super Mario Galaxy is not yet available but it has already been confirmed that it will happen soon. All of them won a remastered version with graphics in 1080p resolution and can be purchased for approximately R$35,00. This shows that this release will not only be for a limited period of time.

For now, this partnership and this release are part of an agreement only in China, so it is not yet known if it will be able to arrive in other countries or, if it can, when it will happen. Still, it's already intriguing news for many fans of the Nintendo, after all, this is the first time its classic games have been played on a platform other than the company's console.

For the Chinese who are taking advantage of the novelty, it is possible to play with their own joystick Shield. NVIDIA is actually making an effort to make your Shield TV end up being better received in China, since in the country some of the Google software that runs on Android TV are not available such as the Play Store and the Virtual Assistant.

The news becomes even more surprising when you consider the fact that these classic titles are not yet available on Switch, the current console of Nintendo. There's no word yet on when that will happen, although the company says it shouldn't take long.
