The actor Jonathan Majors is facing new allegations of domestic violence, harassment and abuse. The new allegations were made by women who came forward to the Manhattan District Attorney's Office after his March 25 arrest. They say they are willing to cooperate with the investigation to ensure the case moves forward against the actor, who will face a May 8 hearing. Authorities encourage other victims to come forward by the date, which could lead to Majors' final arrest.
The actor's defense, represented by lawyer Priya Chaudhry, on the other hand, claims that he is innocent and that they have provided irrefutable evidence to the prosecutor that the accusations are false. Meanwhile, Marvel, the studio Majors currently works with, has yet to comment on the allegations. However, rumors suggest that they have already created a “contingency plan” in case they decide to fire him, following what has already happened with other cases of harassment accusations in previous productions.
“Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone. We have provided irrefutable evidence to the District Attorney that the allegations are false. We are confident that he will be fully exonerated.”

The first victim, according to Variety magazine, would have worked in Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, released earlier this year. A source close to the magazine also tells the magazine that everyone is waiting to see what Marvel does, though that doesn't mean every other studio will follow suit. The situation remains open and the Manhattan District Attorney has not yet commented on the new allegations.
