Despite the fact that there is already LGBTQIA+ representation on LOL, K'Sante already shows his orientation in the second teaser released today. See now!

For over ten years on the air — and for ten years with a Brazilian server —, the League of Legends can still make history. Today it was released by Riot Games a video of official teaser of a new champion: K'Sante. Among the news that the character brings, one of the most interesting is that he became the first champion of the game to be openly gay, showing his sexual orientation in this second official teaser of champion.

Information about K'Sante

Not much is known yet about K'Sante, but the information that exists so far is that it belongs to an unknown region of Shurima, called Nazumah. He's a hunter who wields two weapons that apparently change in some way — the video assumes they adapt as he fights.

Two were shown teasers of the champion. The first shows only a mysterious countenance with a monologue, displaying the ferocity and determination of the character. And today (14) a second official teaser, this time exploring a little more of its history.

He doesn't hesitate to say that his motivation in battles was his love, The Archer, and their weapons, the entofos. This goes to show that for the first time in over 100 playable characters, we have a champion who comes out openly gay even before its release.

Not that there is no LGBTQIA+ representation in LOL, there are many characters that are part of the community, but this detail has always been explored more after launch, most likely during some review of their stories or in their development.
