Assassin's Creed Unity release delayed
A Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed Unity It will only be released on November 11th in the United States. Two weeks after the previously announced date, October 28th. The game will launch in Europe two days later, November 13th.
The company wrote a long article on its blog explaining the reasons for the delay, among which: the development team had to adapt to the next generation consoles, Xbox One and Playstation 4, which was a difficult process considering that Assassin's Creed is a giant open world game, with many details that add up to make a difference. Now that the game is almost over, the team will focus on these small tweaks.
Vincent Pontbriand, producer at Ubisoft Montreal, especially focused on the Assassin's Creed series, also says that the wait will be worth it and that the team will continue to work hard even after the game's release and that will result in a “Day 1 patch”.
With the delay in the launch the game will be released on the same day of Assassin's Creed Arrogant e The Crew
Watch the gameplay
Assassin's Creed is an open world adventure game series. Its first title was released in 2007 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. It's one of my favorite franchises in the gaming world, although collecting 99 of the Kingdom's 100 flags is one of my biggest regrets. Are you a fan of Assassin's too?
