Game releases: all games confirmed for December 2018

Nintendo's biggest promise for 2018, an expansion of the automotive scene on Xbox platforms, and a charming relaunch of the original PlayStation.

We reached the last month of 2018 with a smaller amount of game releases. Even though it's a slightly calmer time, some big highlights promise to leave their mark on the media for a long time.

an old new friend

Following the trend of Nintendo to re-release the past in an updated version, the end of this year will be marked by Sony, on December 3rd, with the release of the long-awaited PlayStation Classic, consul which is an official replica of the PS1 miniature.

Among the great classics, we can mention Wild Arms, Tekken 3, Final Fantasy VII, Grand Theft Auto e Metal Gear Solid. Unfortunately, the console does not have any kind of extra features for other games to be added, limiting access to the 20 previously announced titles.

December 04th

Just Cause 4 (PC, PS4, Xbox One) continues the string of releases from the last month of the year with deafening explosions, Gadgets and more lively biomes to create a really fun experience. Its biggest attraction is the physics of the world and the possibilities that can arise between the player's interaction with elements of the scenario.

Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection (PS Vita, PS4) brings, for the first time, the characters of 3 person e 5 person to the rhythm game scene. Building on the success of 4 Person: Dancing All Night, the collection has three games, one of which is a port of the PS Vita version. The games can also be purchased separately if the player is only interested in one of them.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales (PC, PS4, Xbox One) arrives on consoles in early December, putting the player in an experience that takes place within the universe of the acclaimed series The Witcher. With a nice look and strong RPG elements, this could be a good choice for those who stuck to the adventures of Geralt of Rivia and the mythology brought by the franchise.

December 07th

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Switch) is the fifth title in the series and the biggest promise of Nintendo for 2018. Bringing together more than 70 characters and more than 100 battle stages, the new title by Masahiro Sakurai is an example for any fighting game today, whether for the amount of options available or the quality of its gameplay. And the Nintendo showing its full potential with the Switch and with its exclusive weights.

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS (PS4), also known by the acronym PUBG, was one of those responsible for the popularization of the Battle Royale and also one of the nominees for game of the year in 2017. Initially exclusive to PC and Xbox One, the shooter and survival game arrives with everything on the console of the Sony to try to win back a large part of the audience lost to the free Fortnite Battle Royale in 2018.

December 13th

Grey (PC, Switch) is a narrative experience that exudes artistic creativity in every detail. The game indie platform, which was all hand-drawn, promises a very personal, contemplative journey in the role of the protagonist that gives the game its name. Its highest point seems to be the story itself, told through music, environments and colors.

December 14th

Borderlands 2 VR (PS VR) is a virtual reality experience that rescues the adventures of Claptrap, Handsome Jack, Tiny Tina and many other outstanding characters from the original Borderlands 2. Oriented in first person and bringing RPG elements to the journey of survival in inhospitable alien lands, the bet of virtual reality is precisely to impact on immersion.

December 28th

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition (Switch) closes the month with a complete package full of additional content. Since when it was launched, 5 years ago, Dynasty Warriors 8 received several updates and expansions to further enrich this frenetic experience. The Switch version arrives with everything and a little more fans of the “genre” musou.
