Get ready for a wave of many releases with the Disney+ premieres in August 2025. Among the highlights, we have the series Eyes of Wakanda, Outlander: Blood of My Blood, Alien: Earth, besides the movie Eenie Meanie and the documentary Necaxa. Many other productions, including the live sports from ESPN channel and other releases yet to be confirmed throughout the month are also included. Check out the full list!
Series
Eyes of Wakanda (Season 1) (01/08)
Original: Eyes of Wakanda
The animated series of Marvel, called Eyes of Wakanda (Eyes of Wakanda) is one of the great highlights of Disney+ in August. Spin-off de Black Panther and expanding the universe of Wakanda, it promises to bring new characters, adventures, and reveal many secrets.
Its story focuses on the brave warriors of Wakanda, now assigned to rescue artifacts composed of vibranium, and will take place in different periods of time, focusing on T'Challa's country. Eyes of Wakanda It also promises to delve even deeper into the stories of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), guaranteeing success among fans of the franchise.
King of the Hill (Season 14) (04/08)
Classic animation that returns after 15 years since its last episode of the 13th season (released in 2010), King of the Hill returns with all its characteristic humor to the delight of the series' fans.
This time, the family returns to the city of Arlen, fictionally set in Texas, with many changes but also similarities. We'll see Bobby being a chef and many other former children now helping their parents adapt the place to modern times.
Law & Order: Organized Crime (Season 5) (06/08)
Original: Law & Order: Organized Crime
Law & Order: Organized Crime (Law & Order: Organized Crime) is a police series in which the detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) works to combat illegal enterprises in New York while fighting to defend himself from the imminent dangers that surround him at every turn.
In the fifth season of the series, the dangerous worlds of smuggling and terrorism will be further explored, while stabler must protect himself from a vengeful family whose life was ruined by the detective in Rome.
Outlander: Blood of My Blood (Season 1) (09/08)
Spin-off of Outlander and preceding the events of the famous historical romance series, Outlander: Blood of My Blood is based on the books of Diana Gabaldon. The series focuses on two love stories in two different time periods: that of the parents of Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) — Brian Fraser e Ellen MacKenzie — and of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) — Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp, which take place in Scotland during the 18th century and in England during the First World War respectively.
Based on this historical rescue, the new series will explore, over 10 episodes, the family origins of passion between couples. Fraser e Beauchamp to explain the overwhelming romance of the main franchise Outlander.
Alien: Earth (Season 1) (12/08)
Major highlight that debuts this month on the streaming platform Disney, Alien: Earth takes place three years before the first feature film in the franchise, Alien (8), using its environment as a backdrop. Created by Noah Hawley, the new science fiction horror series reveals an innovative perspective on human survival, combining elements of action and suspense to build its plot throughout the episodes.
Taking place in the year 2120, Alien: Earth is set in a time period in which five corporations (Dynamic, Lynch, Prodigy, Threshold and Weyland-Yutani) rule the world by promising technological advances. At one point, after a mysterious spaceship crashed on planet Earth, the young woman Wendy (Sydney Chandler), along with a team of tactical soldiers, discovers the greatest threat the world has ever faced. From there, they will encounter many extremely dangerous alien life forms that must be faced in a game of escalating threat that will change the fate of the planet forever.
Collapse (Season 1) (August 15)
Original: Broken
Em Collapse (Broken), the actress and singer Tini Stoessel plays Miranda, a young Argentine woman who decides to search for her origins after being raised by an adoptive family in her childhood. However, upon returning to Mexico, Miranda will discover that, in fact, she was forcibly separated from her biological mother as a baby and will then decide to infiltrate a criminal organization to learn more about the whole truth regarding her unknown past.
Amidst an underworld of crimes and revelations, she will have to make difficult decisions to remain unharmed, having to risk herself between light and darkness to confront themes such as punishment and forgiveness.
Limitless with Chris Hemsworth: Living Better (Season 2) (15/08)
Original: Limitless: Live Better Now
The series produced by National Geographic Limitless with Chris Hemsworth: living better (Limitless: Live Better Now) is the continuation of the first season, entitled Limitless with Chris Hemsworth. Now, the protagonist Chris Hemsworth will test their limits in extreme, high-risk experiences: climbing a 180-meter wall in the Swiss Alps, participating in South Korean Special Forces training, and playing the drums, after recently learning, alongside E for an audience of 70.000 people.
Visiting six countries over two years, the series aims to show ways to strengthen the mind and body, as well as reveal steps to living a better life in everyday relationships.
The Twisted History of Amanda Knox (Season 1) (20/08)
Original: The Twisted Tale Of Amanda Knox
Inspired by the true story of Amanda Knox (Interpreted by Grace Van Patten) and the unfair accusation attributed to him for the tragic accident of Meredith Kercher, her roommate in Italy during a school exchange. The series portrays the events experienced by the protagonist—who was targeted by the media along with her boyfriend Raphael Sollecito (Giuseppe De Domenico) — as she fought to prove her innocence for 16 years until she was acquitted by the Italian high court. The actors also appear in the series Francis Acquaroli, John Hoogenakker, Roberta Mattei and Sharon Horgan.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Season 17) (20/08)
The 17th season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia — a comedy series that follows the lives of a group of friends who own a bar, Paddy's Pub — brings some new features, such as facing a crisis, the return of old characters, and even a crossover with the series Abbott Elementary.

Eenie Meanie (2025) (22/08)
The film Eenie Meanie revolves around Edie, Played by Samara Weaving (Panic VI, Bloody Wedding), a former getaway driver who is forced to confront her dark past when offered the chance to save her ex-boyfriend's life. John (Karl Glusman).
Developed by 20th Century Studios, the film is directed and written by Shawn Simmons (The Continental: From the World of John Wick, Wayne) and has its name “Eenie Meanie” based on the children’s expression in choice games “eeny, meeny, miny, moe” (something like “uni duni tê” in Brazilian translation).
Documentaries and Specials
Necaxa (1st Season) (08/08)
Spin-off de Welcome to Wrexham, Necaxa is a bilingual documentary series from FX, created and starring the actress Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives, Dora and the Lost City), together with the actors Rob mcelhenney (Welcome to Wrexham, MythicQuest) e Ryan Reynolds (Dead Pool, Free Guy: Taking Control) that defies expectations.
Aiming to revitalize the Necaxa Club — considered one of the oldest and, formerly, most powerful football clubs in Mexico — the series will tell the story of an era marked by instability, transformation, and turbulence, but with a lot of determination, with the purpose of restoring the legacy and hope of the loyal fans of this beloved Mexican football club based in Aguascalientes.
Menéndez & Menudo: Boys Betrayed (1st Season) (20/08)
the documentary series Menéndez & Menudo: Boys Betrayed puts the former band member Menudo, Roy Rosselló, in the search for justice through a connection between Jose Menendez e Edgardo Dias, which gives new focus to Menendez brothers case. New questions, witnesses and detailed interviews are put on the agenda, with the aim of going as far as necessary.

Iron Man and his amazing friends (12/08)
Original: Marvel's Iron Man and his Awesome Friends
Following the adventures of best friends Amadeus Cho, Riri williams e Tony Stark, the series aimed at preschoolers Iron Man and his amazing friends (Marvel's Iron Man and his Awesome Friends) pits heroes against each other to solve major problems and save the day. Unity and teamwork to protect their city are the central themes here, along with the use of Iron Suits that grant them great powers, increasing their strength and enabling flight.
