The list of releases of Globoplay in August 2025 arrives with everything to deliver a wide variety of streaming content to its subscribers. Series, soap operas, films, and much more are promised for this month, including the second season of the reality show Star of the House, from the new Brazilian series Perfect Days, from the documentary film Ritas, in addition to a vast amount of films and programs for subscribers of Globoplay Premium. FBI: Most Wanted (Season 6) (05/08)

Original: FBI: Most Wanted

The series that explores extreme police cases and the most wanted “outlaws” will be back for its sixth season on Globoplay in August. FBI: Most Wanted returns with themes such as bomb attack, possible serial killer and money laundering.

Perfect Days (Season 1) (August 14)

The new original Brazilian series balloon play, Perfect Days, adapts the book of the same name by Raphael Montes and delivers a plot that tells the story of the medical student Teo (Jaffar Bambirra) and his relationship with the young aspiring screenwriter Clarice (Julia Dalavia). In the plot of this psychological thriller, after falling in love and not being loved back, Teo takes drastic action: take Clarice forced to go on a trip, thinking that, in time, his love will be reciprocated.

Tell Me What You Really Want (2023) (30/08)

Original title: Say What You Want (Truthfully)

The Mexican comedy film Tell me what you want (for real) (Say whatever you want (really)), exclusive to the platform balloon play, will show the story of Diego (Tony Dalton) e Emilia (Angie Cepeda), a couple who have been married for 16 years and have now lost their passion for each other. The entrance of Betina (Stephanie Key) it's from Thomas (Manolo cardona) in the plot serves to introduce the conservative couple to a new forbidden world that will transform their notions about topics such as intimacy, sex and relationships.

Documentary

Ritas (2025) (09/08)

In this intimate documentary film about the singer's life and artistic career Rita lee, a new look will be brought to the life of this woman who is considered the queen of Brazilian rock. Ritas presents testimonies, unpublished recordings of the singer, in addition to revealing her personal collection, highlighting her importance in rock and the little-known sides of the singer.

Reality

Star of the House (Season 2) (25/08)

Airing from August 25th to October 6th, the second season of reality show Star of the House begins its daily programming with a presentation of Ana Clara and an all-star cast. Promising plenty of musical battles, the singers will compete for a record deal, as well as many other prizes. In addition to the broadcast on TV Globo, subscribers to balloon play will also have several live cameras.

Beyond Time (2015) (Original soap opera) (04/08)

With two distinct phases, the soap opera Beyond time, originally broadcast in 2015, explores how love can overcome obstacles and tells the love story between Livia (Alinne Moraes) e Felipe (Rafael Cardoso), set in the 150th century and hampered by family and social conventions. After XNUMX years, the story reveals the encounter of their incarnations, guided by different contexts, offering the chance to rewrite their stories in the best possible way and correct the mistakes of the past. 

Separation?! (2010) (Rescue Series) (18/08)

Separation?! is a 2010 miniseries that shows the couple Karin (Debora Bloch) e Agnaldo (Vladimir Brichta) — a teacher and an insurance broker respectively — in their usual coexistence. Their story is filled with humor, featuring disagreements, confusion, irony, fights, and reconciliations. Also part of the cast Claudia Ventura, Cristina Mutarelli, Kiko Mascarenhas, Marcelo Varzea e Rita Elmor.

Dona Xepa (1977) (Rescue soap opera) (25/08)

The soap opera Dona Shepa is a 1977 classic, inspired by the work of Pedro Bloch and written by Gilberto Braga. The plot reveals the market vendor's daily life Carlota Losano (Yara Cortes), popularly known as “Dona Shepa”, and their children Edson (Reynaldo Gonzaga) e Rosalia (Nivea Maria), who, after rising in society, begin to hide their humble origins. Discussing themes such as ambition, prejudice, and social inequality, the soap opera was a huge success and is now back through rescue project of soap operas balloon play.

I See the Moon in the Sky (1976) (Novel Fragments) (11/08)

The 1976 soap opera I see the moon in the sky is inspired by the homonymous story of Marques Rebelo and is set in Rio de Janeiro at the beginning of the 20th century. Its plot focuses on the love affair between a young man from the upper class Fernando (Eduardo Tornaghi) and the resident of humble origins Suzana (Norma Blum), revealing the obstacles and family conflicts in the face of class differences.

Jujutsu Kaizen (1st Season) (26/08)

Jujutsu Kaizen tells the story of the young high school student Yuji Itadori until his life is transformed. The fact begins after Yuji —who was participating in an occult club when he accidentally unleashed a curse contained within an artifact—decides to swallow the talisman, represented by a finger, to protect his fellow students from the curse. Finding himself in a dangerous environment after becoming the host of the curse, the young man Yuji leaves ordinary life to dive headfirst into a universe full of darkness, danger and a tireless search for other fingers to finally finish what he started.

Deadly Postcards (2020)

After having his daughter and son-in-law murdered during their honeymoon, the detective Jacob Kanon (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), travels to the location in Europe and ends up discovering a series of similar cases occurring in countries such as Germany, Denmark, France, and Sweden. In all of them, each event is preceded by a postcard sent by the killer to a journalist.

The Illusionist (2006)
