See Max releases in February 2025

In February 2025, the Max brings a series of notable releases. The new season of Kitchen Nightmare returns with chef Erick Jacquin helping struggling restaurants. The series White lotus also returns with new episodes, promising more drama and mystery.

The award-winning film Everything Everywhere at the Same Time will be available, offering an innovative and engaging narrative. In addition, the animation The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim arrives bringing a new story set in Middle-earth. Check out Max's main releases in February below.

Kitchen Nightmare – Season 4 (07/02)

Chef Erick Jacquin returns for another season of Kitchen Nightmare, facing new challenges in restaurants on the brink of collapse. With his direct approach, he exposes problems in management, service and food quality, while trying to reverse the crisis in a few days.

In each episode, entrepreneurs in the food industry deal with harsh criticism and drastic changes to save their businesses. The fourth season brings new cases of conflict, financial difficulties and resistance to change, showing the audience the complexity of the gastronomy industry in Brazil.

Naked and Afraid – Latinos – Season 3 (16/02)

in the new season of Naked and Afraid – Latinos, participants from Latin America face extreme challenges in wild environments. Without clothing, food or shelter, pairs must survive for weeks using only survival skills and teamwork. The program tests the physical and psychological limits of the competitors, who face hunger, hostile weather and encounters with dangerous animals.

The White Lotus – Season 3 (16/02)

The third season of The White Lotus takes the audience to Thailand, exploring the behind-the-scenes of a luxury resort where guests live life-changing experiences. As in previous seasons, the series follows different characters, including friends who reunite, a businessman traveling with his family and a man seeking peace with his new partner.

Between conflicts, revealed secrets and unstable relationships, the stay quickly becomes a nightmare. Created by Mike White, the new season was filmed in Koh Samui, Phuket and Bangkok, has a cast that includes Carrie Coon, Jason Isaacs and Lisa (BLACKPINK) and is one of the main novelties of Max this month.

Operation Border Brazil – 4th Season (19/02)

The new season of Brazil Border Operation follows the work of security forces in protecting the country's borders. With exclusive access, the series documents the actions of the Federal Police, Federal Revenue Service and other authorities in combating drug trafficking, smuggling and transnational crimes. The episodes show operations at airports, roads and rivers, revealing the challenges faced by agents and the strategies used to contain illegal activities.

Coyote, Hero and Beast – Season 1 (19/02)

In a Mexican city dominated by drug trafficking, young Lupe makes a radical decision to protect his community: accepting a ritual that transforms him into a beast-man. Coyote, Hero and Beast explores the border between mysticism and violence, following Lupe as he faces criminals and deals with the consequences of his new power.

Matches – 3rd Season (26/02)

After his marriage ends, Ricardo moves into his friend Escovão's house, who encourages him to explore single life. In the same building, Lara tries to get over her divorce with the help of her friend Mila. In search of new connections, the four delve into the world of dating apps, navigating disastrous encounters, romantic dilemmas and unexpected discoveries.

Honor (07/02)

Based on real events, Honor follows the story of Jesse Brown, the first African-American pilot in the US Navy, and Tom Hudner, an exemplary soldier. During the Korean War, both are accepted into the VF-32 squadron, where they undergo intense training and risky missions.

As the war intensifies, their friendship is put to the test when one of them is shot down behind enemy lines. The film portrays the challenges of combat aviation and the relationship between pilots amidst the backdrop of the Cold War.

Love and Its Surprises (14/02)

Julia, an advertising executive who has faced a series of failed relationships, decides to focus on her career and leave romance behind. However, her life takes a new turn when she meets Max, a charming and mysterious florist.

As they grow closer, Julia begins to rethink her beliefs about love and open herself to new possibilities. The story explores the challenges of allowing oneself to love again, with the unexpected and surprises that love can bring, even when one tries to avoid seeking it.

Everything Everywhere at Once (14/02)

No introduction needed, Everything Everywhere at the Same Time tells the story of Evelyn Wang, a Chinese immigrant who faces a series of personal and professional difficulties. Her laundry business is going bankrupt, her marriage with her husband is troubled, and her relationship with her daughter and father is strained.

To make matters worse, she finds herself in a tense meeting with Deirdre, an IRS auditor. However, when a rift in the multiverse opens during their meeting, Evelyn finds herself thrown into a journey to save the world, traveling through parallel universes and exploring alternate lives she could have lived.

Triangle of Sadness (21/02)

Triangle of Sadness is a film that follows Carl and Yaya, two young models seeking fame in the world of influence and fashion. After winning a trip on a luxury cruise ship, they become the only middle-class passengers among millionaires, led by a communist and alcoholic captain. When a storm and a pirate attack cause the ship to sink, the survivors find themselves stranded on a deserted island. The power dynamics change dramatically when, among the wealthy, the Filipino cleaning lady proves to be the only one capable of surviving in the inhospitable environment.

Deadly Lottery (28/02)

Jackpot: Deadly Lottery is a thriller set in a dystopian future in California, where a lottery offers a multi-billion dollar prize — but with one macabre condition: the winner must be dead before sunset in order to legally claim the prize.

When Katie Kim arrives in Los Angeles and accidentally wins the winning ticket, she finds herself in a deadly race to survive the prize hunters. On her escape, she teams up with Noel Cassidy, an amateur lottery protection agent, who promises to help her in exchange for a share of the prize. However, they must face off against Louis Lewis, a rival of Noel's who also wants to secure his commission by any means necessary. 

The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim (Coming Soon)

The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim explores the events that led to the iconic fortress of Helm's Deep, located in the kingdom of Rohan. The story is set 183 years before the original trilogy and follows King Helm Hammerhand, the founder of the fortress, during a time of war with Wulf, leader of the Dunlendings, who seeks revenge for the death of his father. The plot focuses on the struggle for survival of the people of Rohan, with Helm's daughter Hera leading the resistance against Wulf's relentless attacks.

Side Effects – Season 1 (02/02)

Side effects follows Marshall and Frances, two former high school classmates who discover a mushroom with powerful healing properties that can treat almost any disease. Determined to bring this incredible discovery to market, they face opposition from governments, pharmaceutical companies and international businessmen who will do anything to stop them. The half-hour animated series mixes humor and suspense as the protagonists navigate a web of conspiracies and challenges. The series premieres with two episodes in a row on Adult Swim and Max, with new episodes being released every Monday through March 31.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure – Season 2 (21/02)

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is an anime and manga series created by Hirohiko Araki, which follows the adventures of the Joestar family over several generations, each facing powerful enemies and supernatural situations. The story is known for its unique style, eccentric characters, and epic battles, often involving special abilities called "Stands". The series is divided into arcs, with each one exploring different members of the Joestar family, with the protagonist of each part being a "JoJo".

Batwheels – Season 2 (Coming Soon)

batwheels is an animated series aimed at children that follows the adventures of superhero vehicles, including the Batmobile, Batgirl's Batcycle, among others. In the second season, the story continues to explore the incredible abilities of these vehicles, now working alongside Batman and other heroes of Gotham City to face new villains and challenges. The season deepens the bonds of friendship between the characters and brings more action and fun, with the machines gaining unique personalities and abilities.

Mini Beat Power Rockers – Season 5 (Coming Soon)

Mini Beat Power Rockers is an animated series aimed at children, which follows a group of young musicians who are passionate about rock. The story follows the members of the band Mini Beat Power Rockers — Mimi, Lenny, Max and Bongo — as they face challenges and learn lessons about friendship, teamwork and the importance of music.

Weeboom – Season 2 (Coming Soon)

Weeboom is an animated series aimed at young audiences, with a vibrant and energetic style. The plot follows a group of characters who live in a world full of influences from pop culture and the internet. The series mixes comedy, action and science fiction elements, addressing themes such as friendship, competition and the dynamics of social networks in a light and fun way.

Documentaries, Specials and Other Content

The Fall of P. Diddy (Documentary Series) (01/02)

The Fall of P. Diddy is a documentary series that investigates the allegations against Sean Combs over the decades, bringing together more than 30 interviews with former friends, collaborators and accusers who shared personal experiences with the music mogul.

Interviewees include D. Woods, Danyel Smith and Rodney 'Lil Rod' Jones, who all offer insight into Combs' behavior. The production also features never-before-seen archival footage, following Combs' rise at Bad Boy Records and the abuse and violence scandals that marked his career.

Critics Choice Awards 2025 (Event) (07/02)

O 2025 Critics Choice Awards, one of the most important awards shows in the entertainment industry, will be broadcast on February 7, with the Max platform offering complete coverage of the event. Recognizing the best films, series and performances of the year, the ceremony brings together specialized critics and celebrities to celebrate the most impactful productions.

Luigi Mangione: The CEO's Killer (Coming Soon)

Luigi Mangione: The CEO Killer is a documentary that explores the shocking murder of Brian Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealthcare, by Luigi Mangione, which occurred on December 4, 2024, in Manhattan. The crime, which gained widespread attention on social media, involved Mangione, a 26-year-old man who apparently acted out of a sense of justice against the US healthcare system.
