Max (HBO Max) July 2023 Releases: Parasite, Spencer, and More
formerly known as HBO Max and currently undergoing a redesign under the label Max, the streaming service of HBO has stood out for great releases and a catalog full of successes. The month of July arrives to the delight of fans and expectations will be met, as new films and series will arrive on the list of options, such as the winner of the Oscar 2020 for best film, Parasite, in addition to other movie successes such as Spencer e Elysium and original works such as use your voice.
In addition, a new season of the hit Harley Quinn animation will be released later this month along with the new Batman animated film, Batman: Doom Has Come to Gotham.

killer without a trace
Alex Lewis is a seasoned assassin known for his understated precision. He's about to retire, but he's given one last assignment before he gets his wish to get out of the business. At first, the target seems simple: one person. However, he discovers that the target is a girl. Confronted by a moral dilemma, Alex refuses to complete a job that violates his code of ethics and decides to cancel the contract.
However, he discovers that the girl has been murdered by another hired killer. This puts him on a collision course with FBI agent Vincent Serra, who had helped the girl recover after her father was killed. Upon becoming a target for both the FBI and others looking for Serra, Alex sets out to eliminate child traffickers, but his severe memory loss begins to take its toll on his health and his mission.
Batman: Doom has arrived in Gotham
On a journey of self-discovery, Bruce Wayne embarks on a long journey, adopting three orphans in different parts of the world. However, his path takes him to the arctic, where he encounters the Penguin and learns that an evil cult is plotting Gotham City's destruction.
Faced with this imminent threat, Bruce Wayne needs to return to his hometown and take up the mantle of Batman again. Gotham is the place where his parents were brutally murdered by a maniac twenty years ago. Now, he's determined to protect the city and stop the cult's sinister plan from coming to fruition.
Welcome to the Jungle
Travis is a young man from a wealthy family who decides to venture into the Amazon in search of a legendary gold mine known as Helldorado. Concerned about his whereabouts, his family hires Beck, a rescue specialist, to find him in the vastness of the Brazilian jungle.
At first, Travis and Beck have some disagreements, but gradually Travis manages to convince Beck to help him in his search for the legendary mine. However, they discover that they are not alone in this endeavor. Hatcher, the ruthless boss of a mining company, is also on the hunt for the legendary Helldorado and will do anything to get the gold.
Elysium
In the year 2159, society is divided into two strata: the extremely wealthy who reside on the Elysium space station and the poor who live on an overpopulated and declining Earth. While government secretary Rhodes strives to preserve the luxurious way of life in Elysium, a poor citizen of Earth embarks on an audacious plan to restore equality between the people.
Karate Kid: The Moment of Truth
A young man is pursued by members of a wrestling gang, but finds succour in an elderly gentleman in his neighborhood. Initially appearing to be a harmless handyman, the man quickly reveals himself to be a master of the martial arts and guides his new apprentice through the simple discipline and humility acquired in manual labor.
Karate Kid 3: The Final Challenge
In Los Angeles, Daniel faces the challenge of a karate fighter determined to destroy his master, Miyagi. At first, he is reluctant to accept the challenge, but is eventually forced to do so. However, this time he cannot count on Miyagi's support, who refuses to train him, arguing that karate should be used to protect honor and life, not to seek titles and trophies.
My First Love 2
With a holiday approaching, Vada Sultenfuss convinces her father to let her travel to her Uncle Phil's home in Los Angeles. Her drama teacher assigns her the task of portraying the life of someone she has never met, prompting her to research her own mother's life. During this journey of self-discovery, she is accompanied by Nick Zsigmond, son of Rose Zsigmond, her uncle's girlfriend.
In the Company of Fear
Miranda Grey, a renowned criminal psychiatrist, makes a shocking discovery when she finds herself suddenly admitted to the clinic for the mentally disabled where she works. After being fired from their positions at the university, parapsychologists Egon Spengler, Raymond Stantz and Peter Venkman decide to embark on a new venture: opening their own ghost hunting business. However, when a portal to another dimension accidentally opens in New York, they are faced with an uphill task to save the city and deal with a flood of supernatural phenomena.

A few years after they saved New York from a paranormal threat, the Ghostbusters now face rejection from the population and the authorities. However, when they accidentally discover a new evil force that is strengthening in the city's underground tunnels, they are faced with the urgency of convincing New Yorkers to adopt a positive attitude. This new spiritual entity seems to feed on anger, resentment and sadness, and it's crucial that the city comes together to combat this threat.
The Smurfs
Gargamel and his cat Cruel finally discover the whereabouts of the Smurfs' sleepy enchanted village, thanks to Clumsy's oversight. Invading the place, they cause a big mess and the Smurfs disperse. Clumsy ends up taking the wrong path and, during a blue moon night, comes across a magical portal. Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Genie, Grumpy and Brave decide to follow him, seeking to escape Gargamel's clutches.
When they cross the portal, they find themselves in the middle of New York, an unknown world and very different from what they are used to. With Gargamel chasing them, the Smurfs split up, with Clumsy ending up inside a box that Patrick takes to his house. This situation is enough for the other Smurfs to decide to follow him, determined to rescue their friend.
Parasite
In Parasite, Ki-taek's family faces unemployment and lives in precarious conditions, confined in a dirty and cramped basement. By a twist of fate, the teenage son of the family starts teaching English to the daughter of a wealthy family. Fascinated by this family's luxurious lifestyle, the father, mother, son and daughter hatch a plan to gradually infiltrate the bourgeois circle. However, the secrets and lies required to achieve social ascension will come at a high price for all of them.
Always forward
Johnny is a radio journalist with a special journalistic project: traveling across the US states interviewing children about their views of the world and the future. However, at his sister's request, he takes it upon himself to look after his young nephew, Jesse. Jesse's presence in Johnny's life brings a new perspective, and as they travel across the country together, the journalist begins to see his own world differently.
By exercising his sensitivity by truly listening to children, Johnny discovers that there is much more to it than just his job. Through Jesse's innocence and life-changing insight, he learns to take seriously the experiences and lessons children have to offer adults. Especially the art of facing life with simplicity, a skill and optimism that is often lost in the maturing process.
