In partnership with Qualcomm, Lenovo launched in Brazil the notebook ThinkPad X13s with artificial intelligence and octa-core chip Snapdragon. With support for the 5G connection, the launch brings partnership with the operator Living to offer the high-speed mobile connection.
Lenovo ThinkPad X13s
O Lenovo ThinkPad X13s is a high-performance notebook, the first computer equipped with Wi-Fi 6E, 5G internet network and chip Snapdragon 8cx Gen3.
Made to be an intelligent machine designed for the corporate market, its fluid ecosystem is similar to that of a smartphone, allowing the user to always stay connected to the 5G network even with the notebook closed, perfect for remote or hybrid work. The Snapdragon chip arrives to make this combination between the fluidity of a smartphone, with the security of a ThinkPad.
We deliver the fluidity of smartphone use, with the security, robustness and performance of a notebook. Using absurd connectivity through 5G and being able to stay more than a day out of the socket with the computer running.
Leandro Lofrano, Product Management Director at Lenovo
O ThinkPad X13s features a 13,3″ touch screen with WUXGA resolution (1920X1200). The panel used is of the IPS type, with 300 nits of brightness. This set is great for good productivity use for work.
Energy and sustainability
A Lenovo also thinks about sustainability, that's why the new ThinkPad X13s is made with 90% recycled magnesium and PCC plastic (more resistant industrial plastic, in free translation), with the intention of reducing carbon emissions in the future.
Because it is thin and made of light material, the notebook does not need cooling fans, and the brand guarantees a battery life of 28 hours in continuous use.
Artificial intelligence
Equipped with several sensors designed to optimize work and machine safety, the Lenovo ThinkPad X13s it has a presence and tracking sensor, automatically blocking and unlocking when the user approaches or moves away from the Notebook.
Its smart cameras have automatic framing and filters designed for video conferencing, which remove the background and detect the user's face to ensure a better video experience. The technology Dolby Audio do ThinkPad X13s it is capable of reducing noise by itself and has audio suppression.
Safety
O Lenovo ThinkPad X13s features a TPM security chip, which features state-of-the-art encryption technology and hardware enhancements that ensure tamper-resistance. And as if that were not enough, the technologies ThinkShield e Microsoft Pluto are also present, giving an additional guarantee of device protection.
Snapdragon 8cx Gen3
Snapdragon is well known in the smartphone market, offering a series of innovations for mobile phones Android, and they've been expanding into the computer market for a while now.
The new Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 combines high performance with lower power consumption together on a 5-nanometer octa-core chip. There are two cores separated into two clusters, the first being entirely dedicated to machine performance and the second, focused on efficiency.
The CPU and GPU are united in the SoC architecture (System On Chip – Integrated System Circuit), which delivers high performance of 40% single thread and 85% multi-thread performance. The GPU is now 60% faster than the previous chip, which snapdragon 8c.
Finally, its AI is 3x more powerful and the chip has 29+ TOPS (trillion operations per second), ensuring a great user experience and image quality.
Vivo prices and partnership
The new ThinkPad X13s is for sale in Brazil for the price of BRL 11.439,99 on the Lenovo website. However, the new notebook can be found directly in the stores of Living for R$10.930, and when buying or renting (prices on request) the laptop, the customer can choose a 100GB data package for R$79,90.
