LG XBoom XL7 and XL5: meet the new mega Bluetooth speakers

Directly from Recife, in Pernambuco, this Wednesday (19) the LG presents its new Bluetooth speakers to Brazil: the XBoom XL7 and XL5. The boxes RNC7 e RNC9 also had some design and power upgrades compared to previous models.

The northeastern choice for the launch was not by chance. Sonah Lee, Director of Marketing for LG do Brasil, informs that the LG decided to make the presentation local to reinforce the positioning of the company and products in regions where music is one of the main cultural pillars. Whether at carnival, at parties, at home or on the beach, the products offer the versatility the user needs.

Xboom XL7

With up to 20 hours of battery life and a screen that displays GIFs, the Xboom XL7 is the biggest speaker launched today. With 2.1 audio channels, 250W RMS power, it has a woofer 8 inch giant and two tweeter 2,5 inch dome. It's not a lightweight speaker, it's approximately 15 kilos, and that's why it has wheels and a telescopic handle for transportation.

One of the biggest highlights of the model, even among competitors, is the programmable LED panel. Through the Xboom app (available for Android e iOS) the user can display GIFs, messages, and “express their emotions”, something that the company reinforces as one of the objectives of the launch. This version also features multicolored lights on the woofer to transform any environment into a complete party.

Among the connections we have Bluetooth 5.1, in addition to microphone input (6.3mm) and guitar (6.3mm), voice effects for karaoke and DJ function. Felipe Lebrão, LG's audio spokesperson, reports that Sound Boost ensures sound expansion, bringing a feeling of greater power and clarity of sound, whether indoors or outdoors. The feature is present on both models.

The company also informs that it produces immense sound with resounding bass and crystalline highs, ideal for packing large parties and sharing emotions. With Dynamic Bass Optimizer, you can enjoy balanced and distortion-free sound. A LG it also tells you that whether you're indoors or outdoors, you'll be able to hear the high-frequency notes clearly.

According to the company, the model is being sold for R$ 3.699,00, but LG website you can buy the XL7 for BRL 3.499,00 and paying at the PIX there is a 5% discount (final value of R$3.324,05) The expectation is that by the end of the month it will be available at other retailers.

XBoom XL5

The XL5 differs from its bigger sister in basically 3 points: power, features and price. There are 200W of RMS power, it does not have the interactive screen and wheels, it has 12 hours of battery life and weighs 11.2 kilos.

It is equipped with 1 woofer 6.5 inches, for low frequencies (the famous bass) and two tweeters 2.5' inches, for the mids and highs with the power needed for the perfect balance.

It also features Bluetooth 5.1, IPX4 certification, splash protection and is compatible with Party Link, a feature that allows you to connect up to 10 speakers at the same time.

O price of the XL5 on the LG website is R$ 2.499,00 but in the PIX the final amount is R$ 2.374,05.

RN5, RN7 and RN9 also received updates

In addition to the two speakers, the RNC5, RNC7 and RNC9 models, LG's non-portable speakers, also got some upgrades. Part of the front design has been refurbished, with more presence of red colors and the XBOOM logo more present, and now they are more powerful.
