In an ad on Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2023), LG announced the gram ultra slim, a new line of light models for those looking for more mobility for their day-to-day life, but who do not want to compromise on quality and power, in addition, it presented other innovations for the public.

The great novelty of the company in the field of notebooks is the LG Gram Ultraslim 15Z90RT, an ultra-portable measuring just 11 millimeters and weighing less than 1 kilogram. This notebook has as direct competitors the Dell XPS 13 and macbook air, references in ultraportables. Even with a compact size, the 15Z90RT (model code) is equipped with the latest processor Intel Raptor Lake 13th generation with P-cores (performance cores), in addition to a 15,6-inch OLED screen with Anti-glare Low Reflection (AGLR), in addition to up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB NVMe SSD.

Mobility and brightness with the new LG Gram Style

the new laptops LG Gram-Style 16Z90RS e 14Z90RS seek to innovate in terms of mobility and technical capacity, with 14 and 16-inch versions, the line is central for those who use the devices in urban areas and do not want to give up longevity and style.

OLED screens offer a 16:10 aspect ratio and anti-glare technology for worry-free outdoor use. In addition, the touchpad offers brightness to the touch, helping the user to navigate in darker environments. The sound of the computer also carries something new, since the Dolby Atmos brings an improved musical atmosphere. The two copies are also served by the processors Intel Raptor Lake 13th gen and SSD NVMe up to 1TB.

Existing models receive updates for 2023

The new models were not the only ones presented at the event, as four new 14- to 17-inch base models from the range LG Gram will receive the NVIDIA GeForce™ RTX 3050 GPU, in addition to the new processors Intel Raptor Lake P-core 13th generation. Like the other models, they will also have up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and an NVMe SSD of up to 1GB.

The models are also lightweight, with less than 1,5 kg in the 17-inch model. In addition, LG claims that the battery of the new notebooks will be able to support an autonomy of up to 20 hours of use.

In addition to the unprecedented releases, existing lines will be enhanced with the new technologies presented at CES. The 2 in 1 models gain new features, for 2023 the line will be available in 14 and 16 inches and will be equipped with a screen sensor for drawing and taking notes, in addition to separating the screen and keyboard, favoring domestic transport.

During the announcement, the company did not disclose initial pricing and sales locations and said it would launch a global launch in South Korea starting next month.
