LG launches four smartphones at MWC15

A LG took the lead and was the first major manufacturer to present the novelties in the Mobile World Congress (World Mobile Congress) which takes place in Barcelona, ​​Spain. The South Korean company has launched a new line of mid-range smartphones with four new models: lg magna, LG Spirit, LG Leon e LG Joy.

Devices are starting to arrive Brazil in March and prices will vary between R$ 499 and R$ 999. Around here, the LG Magna will be called Premium Plus and the Spirit will be named after Volt! The models will have the functionality of Digital TV that pleases the Brazilian consumer very much.

According to the company, the devices have the design and features of premium models, but with intermediate prices. “By combining the most essential hardware with premium design elements from LG and the user experience, the LG created the perfect balance between style and usability”, says the company.

Among the features already revealed are the Glance View, launched at the top of the line G Flex 2 and which will also be featured in Barcelona. It lets you view information like time, messages and missed calls with a swipe of your finger even when the screen is off. already the Gesture Shot lets you take selfies with a hand gesture. Aware of trends, LG updated the feature to recognize movements up to 1,5 meters away, this allows this functionality to be used with the popular selfie sticks without any problems. All appliances are also equipped with the Android Lollipop 5.0.

In design, both the Magna as much as Spirit they are slightly curved, with a radius of curvature of 3000 mm, “for a sleeker and more attractive profile”. Much softer than the 700 mm of the G-Flex2, but that allows it to “fit more comfortably in the palm of the hand with its slightly curved design”, according to the LG.

LG Magna (Prime Plus)

O lg magna, which in Latin means “big”, measures 13,9 x 6,9 cm with 10,2 mm thickness and has a 5-inch HD screen with in-cell technology, which unites the LCD and touch layers of the screen. , for less thickness and weight, but shows little gain. It comes equipped with a 1.2 or 1.3 GHz quad-core processor depending on the market, 8 GB of memory and 1 GB of RAM. The model also has an 8 megapixel and 5 MP camera for the front, and a 2.540 mAh battery.

LG Spirit (Volt)

A little smaller, the LG Spirit measures 13,3 x 6,6 cm with a thickness of 9,9 mm and a 4,7-inch HD screen, also with in-cell technology. Internally, it has the same configuration as the Magna, but it may have a 5 MP main camera depending on the market, and the battery is reduced to 2.100 mAh.

LG Leon

O LG Leon, which comes from “lion”, is the first without in-cell, measuring 12,9 x 64,9 cm with 10,9 thickness and a 4,7-inch screen. It also has the same internal equipment as the Magna and Leon, but with a 0.3 MP VGA front camera and 1.900 mAh battery.

LG Joy

The smallest of all, the LG Joy measures 12,2 x 64 cm with 11,9 mm thickness and 4 inch screen. This time the configuration is slightly below the other models, being able to be 1.2 GHz quad-core or dual core, with 8 GB or 4 GB of space and 1 GB or 512 MB of RAM. The camera has the lowest resolutions too, with 5 MP on the back and 0.3 MP VGA on the front. The battery, however, is the same as the Leon, with 1,900 mAh.

All four models also have versions LTE 4G e 3G, which will be made available according to each market. The devices are almost identical, but the ones with 4G will have a metallic finish on the back, while the 3G will be with stamped plastic.
