LG launches SP8A and SP9A soundbars with artificial intelligence and sustainable design

A LG announced two new models of soundbars in Brazil, the SP8A and SP9A. The devices will be compatible with 4K video players and were built to bring a cinema-like experience using Artificial Intelligence. It also brings the main assistants on the market, such as Alexa e Google Assistant, still has the AirPlay 2 for device mirroring Apple and LG ThinQ AI to control your entire home's smart devices directly from your TV.

LG's new SP8A and SP9A soundbars

The cutting-edge model, the SP9A, will have a power of 520 Watts RMS, divided into 5.1.2 channels, while the model SP8A will feature 440 Watts RMS, divided into 3.1.2 channels. Both models already have the technology Dolby Atmos, which can project the audio in 360 degrees, emitting different types of sounds from each speaker, creating a home theater experience.

The devices also have the decoder DTS X, which projects the audio according to the scene. If in the movie there is thunder or something above the characters, the sound will be projected accordingly. The same goes for when we are playing video games, with its various types of action. They can provide this quality without needing multiple speakers, using only the bar and subwoofer.

Artificial Intelligence

To ensure that the audio quality is as high as possible, the soundbars has two artificial intelligence systems that help it ensure the best performance. AI Sound Pro 2 can automatically equalize the sound according to what is being played, and AI Room Calibration adjusts the audio according to the environment where the sound is being projected. In addition, they feature Meridian Horizon mixing technology, which further enhances the listener's sense of immersion.

One of the biggest differentials of the new soundbars from LG is that they come with the chromecast inlaid. And if you're one of those people who abhors seeing loose wires through furniture, LG thought of you, as it is possible to connect via Bluetooth or Wi-FI.

Finally, the LG announced that during the production of the SP8A and SP9A soundbars, several ecological initiatives were adopted and recycled materials were used. From the composition of the devices to the packaging, they are fully recyclable, greatly reducing the emission of pollutants.

The suggested price for the SP8A model is R$3.599 while the top-of-the-line model, the SP9A, will cost R$4.299.
