LG shows off the new smart TVs from the 2025 line. See the models

After a quiet launch last week, LG has officially unveiled its 2025 smart TV lineup, featuring a host of AI features, a new remote with a dedicated AI button, and more. Learn more about each of the new lineups and how to buy them below.
New AI Smart Magic Controller
For the 2025 models, LG has revamped the remote control to deliver a great AI experience to its users' daily lives. The new model has had the number keys removed, but they can still be accessed directly on the screen if necessary. The big news is the new button to activate the artificial intelligence features that we will talk about later.
Without leaving the legacy of the famous control smart magic from previous years, it is still possible to have the mouse sensation when using the 2025 model, as it has the function of an on-screen pointer and a scrollable bar for navigating the system.
Powered by batteries, the control also has shortcuts to video streaming services and also LG Channels, the company's free IPTV service that expands content consumption through several niche channels.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) News
AI Voice ID
All models launched by LG can now personalize the user experience simply by voice recognition. When the teenager is using the model, for example, more content related to games or series of the genre they like most will be displayed. And this is done automatically: as soon as a voice command is given to the remote control, the system will make all the adaptations.
AI Search
Microsoft Copilot, which is present in Windows and uses ChatGPT as its base, is now coming to LG smart TVs launched in 2025. The idea here is to provide a complete personal assistant, which listens and sends answers directly on the big screen, about whatever you need. In the same way that we already use OpenAI's artificial intelligence in our daily lives.
To activate Copilot on your smart TV, simply click on the icon or say the command directly to the remote control. LG emphasizes that the language model is ready to listen and send responses in Brazilian Portuguese.
AI Concierge
The AI Concierge on LG's new smart TVs is here to group information and streaming service options for users, according to their personal tastes. The idea is to simplify personalized series and movies in just a few taps. Just press the AI button on the remote control to receive recommendations.
Chatbot AI
The AI Chatbot allows you to chat with the artificial intelligence present in your smart TV. When chatting, you can receive help to fully configure the device in your living room and answer any questions you may have about its daily use.
AI Sound Wizard and AI Picture Wizard
O AI Picture Wizard is a visual assistant from LG that allows the user to customize the TV's image quality in a simple and intuitive way. By choosing images displayed on the screen, the system automatically adjusts parameters such as color, brightness and contrast, creating a visual profile aligned with personal taste. It analyzes billions of possible combinations to deliver a more accurate calibration, without the user needing to understand technical settings.
With AI Sound Wizard, you can listen to different audio clips to create a personalized sound profile, adjusting bass, treble, and dialogue clarity based on 40 million parameters.
The system also identifies the user by voice and adapts the settings automatically, in addition to considering the acoustics of the environment with the AI Acoustic Tuning.
WebOS 25 with 5-year update
In addition to bringing a faster, more intuitive and personalized interface, with individual profiles and AI-based recommendations, the highlight is the promise of five years of software updates.
This means that compatible models will continue to receive updates, performance improvements and new features until 2030, extending the lifespan of the TV and ensuring an always-updated experience. This is an unprecedented commitment from LG that brings TVs closer to the upgrade logic of premium smartphones.
Google Home on Smart Hub
Finally, you will be able to see the interface of Google Home directly on the smart TV screen, as a second option to the interface ThinQ, from LG. You will be able to see, control and register new connected devices directly in the Google interface, which is similar to what we see in the Google Home app for smartphones.
4K OLEDs
LG Signature OLED M4
A LG Signature OLED M4, launched in 2024, is an example of cutting-edge technology in the premium TV segment. It is the brand's first fully wireless OLED TV, with the screen connected only to electrical power and the rest of the system — such as HDMI, audio and video inputs — controlled by an external unit called Zero Connect Box.
This control box can be freely positioned in the room and transmits the signal wirelessly to the screen, with support for 4K at 144 Hz, thanks to the powerful processor α11 AI. It also offers features like AI upscaling, dynamic tone mapping, and compatibility with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync, favoring high-performance gaming.
The LG Signature OLED M4 is sold on order in Brazil for around R$ 100 thousand, in a 65-inch version, and maintains the minimalist and sophisticated look of the Signature line. Despite the innovation, it is important to highlight that the Zero Connect Box requires direct line of sight to the TV, and its bandwidth may be slightly lower than that of a wired HDMI 2.1 connection, which may impact more demanding users in very specific scenarios.
LG OLED evo AI G5
The line LG G5 OLED stands out for delivering absolute blacks in each pixel, which guarantees striking contrast, realistic depth and richness of detail. The technology offers 100% color fidelity and volume, resulting in images with vivid, accurate and extremely natural colors, promoting an immersive visual experience.
the new processor Alpha 11 AI Gen2 raises image quality to 4K with the support of artificial intelligence, which identifies objects at the pixel level. This allows precise adjustments in color and brightness, with highlights for brightness up to 1,5 times larger than traditional OLED TVs, thanks to the new light-emitting structure and optimized lighting control architecture of the chip.

This difference can influence the ease and speed of use, especially for those who value more intuitive navigation and improved voice commands.
