Minority Report: Series Pilot Gets Green Light

Minority Report is a science fiction film of great success released in 2002. The feature had as main actor by Tom Cruise, but also featured other big names such as Max von Sydow, Neal mcdonough, Colin Farrell, James Henderson In addition to being led by Steven Spielberg. minority report was based on eponymous novel written by Philip K. Dick .

The film takes place in the distant future, 2054, where there are no more murders due to the system known as "pre-crime”. THE pre-crime works thanks to precogs¸human beings endowed with a special ability that allows them to predict the future and thus alert the police to prevent crimes from happening.

And this year the pilot of the series received the green light from the Fox studio! The series will be set 10 years after the events of the film. The pilot will follow one of the three precogs who tries to adapt to normal life despite still being haunted by visions of the future. O precog will join a detective who is also haunted, but by his past. This episode will be written by Max borenstein (Godzilla), the executive production is in charge of Justin Falvey (Under the Dome) and Darryl Frank.

There is still no news about the actors chosen to compose the cast of the series.
