Moto E5 Play is announced in Brazil with Android Go

O Moto E5 Play, new entry-level smartphone from Motorola, is arriving today in Brazil. He is the first to run the system Android GO (Android Oreo Go), optimized to take up less space on your smartphone's internal storage, use less battery and save on carrier data usage.

Bruno Couto, Motorola's marketing representative, recalls that “Moto E family is often the option for those who want to know Motorola for the first time”. And, with the starting price of R$ 799,00, the new generation should attract many interested parties. Check the details:

Optimized operating system

O Google modified the operating system Android so that it worked smoothly on devices that do not have a configuration as “bulky” as the tops of the line. The operating system takes up 50% less space than the original version of Android 8.0 Oreo, and the applications of Google they also take up half the space of their version released for phones with better configurations.

With AndroidGo, you can also have greater control over the internet data that was spent and avoid unnecessary costs.

In addition to the system itself, optimization is in a whole line of apps, called “Go“. THE Google Go saves up to 30% of data when searching for content on the internet. Meanwhile, the Files Go It helps to delete unnecessary files, photos and memes that accumulate on the smartphone, as well as clearing temporary data to free up more memory space.

Applications Files Go e YouTube Go allow you to share files and videos between nearby users, without needing internet connections. In addition, of course, the YouTube Go lets you download videos from the platform to view later, even without data connection or WiFi.

The app store Google Play it hasn't changed its name, but it's also optimized. It intelligently suggests the apps that will work best on your smartphone, such as Facebook Lite e Youtube Go.

All these apps not only use less data than their “official versions” but also require less of the device to run flawlessly. According to Marcelo Ferrante, director of partnerships at Android in Latin America, the system of Google is already present in several gadgets around the world, and Brazilian lands could not be left out of this statistic:

Moto E5 Play: Based on user opinion

A Motorola asked the owners of the old version of the device (Moto E4) which functions they liked the most, and the result of the research helped in the development of the Moto E5 Play. The new specifications were presented by Thiago Masuchette, head of products at Motorola.

First, the sensor fingerprints it is now located on the back of the device, making it easier to access, while leaving more space for the screen in the front area.

Speaking of screen, the new model has a display MaxVision of 5.3 inches, with the aspect ratio that is currently successful: 18:9. With these changes, rounded edges accompany the phone, making it easier to use.

The front camera of Moto E5 Play has 5 SM with LED flash (like its predecessor), with special features such as HDRmode Beauty, and slow motion mode. She records videos in Full HD (1080p).

At the back, there is a camera 8 SM which also records in Full HD (1920 × 1080). The special modes present on the front camera are also present on the rear, and there is also a “manual mode”, which can be used to control the IOS of photos, as well as lens aperture, exposure and white balance. 

O Moto E5 Play  has 16 GB of internal storage and gives access to the service Google Photos to save as many photos as you want (unlimited and free capacity on Google cloud). If you don't want to use the cloud or the original memory, just save your files to a memory card of up to 256 GB, since it has a slot for microSDs. The processor present in the Moto E5 Play is Snapdragon 425 da Qualcomm, and the model also has 1 GB  of RAM memory.

Three Chips: in addition to the MicroSD card slot, it is also possible to add two carrier chips. The model has technology smart dual-chip, which recommends the best carrier depending on your usage for calling, internet and messaging. It is worth remembering that all three slots (for chips and memory card) can be used simultaneously.

I liked the device, when does it arrive in Brazil?

O Moto E5 Play is available in Brazil this Wednesday (22) at the official store of Motorola, in the brand's kiosks and main retailers, in two colors: black and gold.

The suggested price of the new device from Motorola is de R$799,00, a little lower than when its predecessor was launched in Brazil (R$ 849,00).

For its an entry line, the family Moto E has the mission to present the Motorola for users who opt for a smartphone with a not-so-high configuration. As we said above, this model is not focused on delivering high performance, but it is a good option for those who want to save money and want to try the optimizations of the AndroidGo.
