It took a lot longer than the owners of the devices would like, but Motorola has finally released the device update Razr D1, Razr D3 and Razr DH protocols for Android KitKat 4.4.2.
Even though it is not the most current version of Google's operating system, the update comes with important bug fixes as well as smartphone usage improvements. Check out the main news:

How to install the update for KitKat 4.4.2
First, you must have a micro SD memory card with at least 500 MB of free space. Motorola recommends that you do this when your phone's battery is at least 50% charged and you're connected to a Wi-Fi network.
If you received a notification message for this update:
- Select “Download”
- Click “Ok” on the memory card non-removal reminder
- After completing the software download, select “Install Now”
- When the software is installed, the phone will automatically restart
- After the device is turned on again it will ask you to confirm the device language. Select “Next” to continue
- The Wi-Fi Connections screen will then appear. Select “Next” to continue
- Now your phone is updated with the new software version
If you have not received a notification message for this update, please follow the steps below to check if there is a new software version available and update your phone manually:
- Select the Configure icon in the application menu
- Tap “About Phone”
- Select “System updates”
- If a message appears that there is an update available, select “Download”
- Click “Ok” on the memory card non-removal reminder
- After completing the software download, select “Install Now”
- When the software is installed, the phone will automatically restart
- After the device is turned on again it will ask you to confirm the device language. Select “Next” to continue.
- The Wi-Fi Connections screen will then appear. Select “Next” to continue
- Your phone is now updated with the new software version.
