Do you remember the famous Motorola RAZR V3, one of Motorola's most popular phones? It looks like a recent filing with the World Intellectual Property Organization may have given us our first look at its remake.
The company behind the “repagination” of the device would be Lenovo, which promises to bring the RAZR back with a folding display.
the return of Motorola RAZR V3
The design, which was presented in December 17, 2018 and seen for the first time by the company 91Mobiles, appears to show a device with a foldable display on the inside, alongside a second, smaller display on the outside.
Last week, the The Wall Street Journal reported that Motorola is looking to relaunch the RAZR as a foldable-screen smartphone. US$ 1.500 in the next month.

Although the name RAZR does not appear anywhere in the Motorola Mobility, the design bears an uncanny resemblance to the iconic handset, right down to the thick chin at the bottom of the device.
The big change is that inside the phone, the old screen and buttons combination has been replaced by a single long, folding screen, which matches the WSJ's only detail about what the upcoming remake will look like.

Doubts about whether Motorola will bring back the design of the Motorola RAZR V3 were repeatedly raised after HMD licensed the Nokia brand to relaunch the Nokia 3310 em 2017 and Nokia 8810 em 2018.
Commenting on the appetite for a renaissance, the co-designer of RAZR-V3, Paul Pierce, told the trade press last month that he thought there was an opportunity to resurrect the old phone, but that “it can't just be done by a gimmick or something of that nature. We have to figure out how to make a breakthrough. ”
That “breakthrough” could now be closer to us thanks to the advent of folding screens, which will take a step closer to becoming a reality next month, when Samsung is expected to detail a foldable phone alongside the series. Galaxy S10 (not collapsible).
Flexible display technology would allow the retro smartphone from Motorola had the same flip design as the Motorola RAZR V3 original without compromising a modern interface.
“I think people are kind of wishing and remembering back to that Razr – when it opened up, and the sound of it, the feel of it. Where is this today? And it feels like an opportunity,” he explained. Pierce recently, “So we’re trying to understand what we can do to relive some of that, but it has to be done in a way that fundamentally provides an amazing experience.”
