Netflix now shows top 10 of the most watched movies and series per day

This week, the Netflix announced a new feature for its subscribers. From now on it will be possible to see a Top 10 of films and most watched series on the platform. As the company explains, this function will be updated every day with the most viewed content by Brazilians.

The “Today's Top 10 in Brazil” is another category completely different from the “Popular on Netflix” section. The novelty receives, next to the banner, a number that indicates the position of popularity on the day. For example, this Wednesday, the 26th, the most watched movie is “The Last Thing He Wanted”, while in the “Series” category the children “Academy” leads in first place. Both are identified with the number “1”.

In addition, all films and series featured in the audience will receive a red seal with the “Top 10”. This identification will be visible in any area of ​​the streaming platform.

“We hope these 10 lists will help you create more shared moments, as well as help you find something to watch faster and easier.” said Cameron Johnson, responsible for product innovation at Netflix. 

“We are constantly looking for ways to improve Netflix. That's why we've tried out the top 10 lists in Mexico and the UK for the last six months. Members from both countries found them useful, and now we are expanding them even further.”

How to see the Netflix Top 10 ranking

To gain access to the most popular content today, simply log in to your Netflix and click on the “series” or “movies” menu. When scrolling down, the identification “Top 10 series today in Brazil” will appear along with other content carousels. The same goes for “Today's Top 10 Movies in Brazil”. The feature is now available for those who access by application (available for Android e iOS) and in the browser. It is important to note that, if it does not appear on your smartphone, simply update the Netflix on your device. 

Today, in the series category, they appear in the Top 10 of Netflix: academy, Locke & Key, blind marriage, Vikings, Betty in New York, Do not talk with strangers, Ragnarok, fri Education, B e The Witcherrespectively.
