A Netflix is testing a new possibility for those who use the company's digital content. The option “Private Mode” will allow you to watch any video without the information being archived in your history.
That is, now you will be able to watch all those movies/series/shows without getting recommendations based on what you've watched before. The new function also prevents content from being published on social networks. A good option to watch those movies you don't want anyone to know, especially for those who share the subscription with other family members.
"Here in Netflix, we keep testing new features. In this case, we are experimenting with a feature that will allow the user who is watching a movie or TV show to choose to view that content in 'Private Mode'. Selecting this option means that the show will not appear in your viewing history, nor will it be used to determine recommendations for what you can watch in the future," wrote Cliff Edwards, the company's director of communications and technology, in an email sent to partners. .
The new functionality has started to be tested in some regions where the number of subscribers is small. The feature will soon be available to all customers.
