Nexus 5 arrives in Brazil in the first quarter of 2014

According to confirmation of LG Brazil to the website Google Discovery, the smartphone Nexus 5 will arrive in Brazil in the first quarter of 2014.

The national model (LG-D821) has already been approved by the Anatel and has full support for networks 4G / LTE Brazilians. Equipped with a screen 4,95 inches (1920×1080 resolution with 445 ppi) and glass Gorilla Glass 3, it will come from the factory with the update 4.4 KitKat of the system Android.

In the United States, the Nexus 5 is already receiving the update 4.4.1 (still KitKat), which promises to solve problems detected in the device at the time of launch, such as the duration of the 2300mAh battery and quality of photos taken with the 8MP camera (with image stabilizer).

To learn more about the device, see these publications:

It is worth remembering that the American model (LG-D820) is now available for a tempting price ($349,00 at 16GB version and US$399,00 in 32GB version), but will have difficulties in working with the Brazilian 4G. Here, the 4G works only on 7 band, non-existent in LG-D820. See the differences between the models:

American Model (D820):

  • GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
  • CDMA: Bands: 0/1/10
  • WCDMA: Bandas: 1/2/4/5/6/8/19
  • LTE: Bands: 1/2/4/5/17/19/25/26/41

International-Brazilian model (D821):
