Nintendo Switch Lite arrives in Brazil in 3 colors

This Friday (1st), the Nintendo announced the official launch of Nintendo Switch Lite in Brazil, the company's new portable console. The solution is aimed at the company's fans who want to take the hit device with them and access a large catalog of famous games, wherever and whenever they want, in the way they prefer.

Meet the Nintendo Switch Lite

O Switch Lite is a simplified version of the Nintendo Switch that brings practicality to the games of Gamers. Its design was designed for quick transport and easy handling, but without losing the game's distinctive identity.

The console has a 5,5” LCD screen, with 32GB of expandable storage via a microSD card, and also accepts games in physical format. The controls of Nintendo Switch Lite are integrated on the left and right of the display. Games that require motion and infrared sensors need Joy-Con controllers, which are purchased separately.

The main difference between the console and the other members of the catalog is that it only has portable mode. That is, it is not compatible with TV mode, since it does not connect to the dock that comes with the Nintendo Switch.

A large collection of games from the Nintendo store is available for the handheld, such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. To check which ones are eligible, just go to Nintendo eShop and look for the compatibility symbol, or find it on the back of the physical game's packaging.

Price and availability

In Brazil, the Nintendo Switch Lite was released in three colors: yellow, turquoise and coral. The console comes with a quick start flyer and an AC adapter. The suggested price is R$ 1.899,00, with availability in several national stores.
