The long awaited No Phone 1 was finally officially announced in the early afternoon of this Tuesday (12), in an event held by NothingTech, a technology startup led by the co-founder of OnePlus, Carl Pei. Previously, the company had already revealed some details of the smartphone, which draws attention due to its set of luminous strips on the back, which can flash in rhythm with some music, light up to show charging status and much more.
From a technical point of view, the No Phone 1 is an Intermediate device without much news, being equipped with components found in most competitors, such as a 120Hz OLED panel to 50 MP photo sensor and a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G +. In terms of design, however, it brings peculiarities that draw attention right away.
Design and canvas

Its clear glass back makes the device incredibly unique. The LED strip present under the protective glass Gorilla Glass 5, which looks more like a car's headlight light, signals notifications, charge status or calls, or flashes to the beat of a song. If you're looking for a smartphone that stands out from the crowd, the No Phone 1 will certainly not disappoint.

On the front, there is a 6,55-inch OLED panel with Full HD resolution with Gorilla Glass technology. The display supports adaptive refresh rate that switches between 60 Hz and 120 HzHas HDR10+ certification and adopts a small hole in the corner for the front camera.
Hardware and performance

The mid-range smartphone brings the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus. The chipset works together with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM (LPDDR5) e 128GB or 256GB storage (UFS 3.1). To account for everything, a 4.500 mAh battery Supports 33W wired, 15W wireless, and 5W reverse fast charging. The device rotates under the Android 12 with the NothingOS interface.

The manufacturer promises three major Android updates, plus four years of security updates every two months. One downside is that the charger does not come with the device in the box.
Cameras

O No Phone 1 accompanies two 50 MP sensors: the first is a Sony IMX766 (used in flagships like the really GT 2 ME, ASUS ROG Phone 6 e Xiaomi 12X) with an aperture of f/1.88, with optical (OIS) and electronic (EIS) stabilization. In addition, the device still brings night mode and a series of adjustments. The Ultrawide sensor has an angle of view of 114º and can also be used for macro photos with a focal length of 4 cm. On the front, a selfie camera with a 16 MP lens takes photos from inside the hole in the top corner of the phone.
During the presentation, Carl Pei highlighted that despite the existing manufacturers on the market have a greater number of lenses in their cell phones, in most cases only the main lens has good quality, while the others offer unsatisfactory results. already the Phone 1, according to the executive, will deliver quality photos with its two lenses.
Availability and price

O No Phone 1 hits the market in black and white and will start to be sold this July in selected markets. For now, there is no information about the start of sales here in Brazil. The announced prices are as follows:
