In an event held in the city of São Paulo, the LG invited journalists and influencers to discover their new Wash and Dry VC2, VC4 and VC5, which can now be purchased on the Brazilian market and stands out for its intelligent washing modes, in addition to being compact. 90% of our sales are in the VC line. Previously, we only worked with 11 kilo models, which had a competitive price for the market. Through research, we understood that it was time to launch 13-kilo models and this turned out very well, with many competitors following the same path. For the year 2024, we decided to innovate again and now, the lines have fixed capacities of 12kg and 14kg. We are excited to deliver a high-capacity product to Brazilian consumers without leaving famous technologies aside.

In addition to greater capacities, the models also have a tempered glass door, as well as steam cycles and onboard artificial intelligence. The lines are divided into three types: VC5 for the entry-level market, VC4 for the intermediate market and VC2 for the premium market. The lines VC4 e VC2 They have a new quick washing mode that can clean two kilos of clothes in just 14 minutes. The two most expensive Lava and Seca lines that are part of these new launches are connected and allow control via Alexa and/or application ThinQ, due to their support for connecting to Wi-Fi networks. There is an exclusive functionality called Turbo Wash and reduces washing cycles by up to 30 minutes.

Talking about steam washing cycles, they eliminate up to 99,9% of dust mites, bacteria, and allergens from clothes. It is possible to activate this mode with steam or include the technology in a washing cycle. Another highlight is the compact size of just 60 cm wide, highlighted by the LG white goods ambassador, Isabela Akkari:
This new feature makes our lives easier by having modes that wash both super heavy bedding, such as duvets, or even more delicate items, such as party clothes, because artificial intelligence can detect the type of clothing placed for washing. They are also super compact, because laundry rooms are getting smaller and smaller these days and it amazes me that such a powerful machine can be placed in such a small space.

The chip present in LG's new washing machines and dryers has training to recognize fabrics and carry out up to 20.000 types of washing. In practice, the Artificial Intelligence DD automatically analyzes the weight and texture of fabrics to indicate the best way to eliminate dirt, odors and up to 99,9% of bacteria. This functionality also preserves up to 18% more fabrics when compared to washing and drying using other brands, he says. Rodrygo Silveira.
To deliver an even more complete wash, the new engine, present in all lines launched today, performs up to six exclusive washing movements: agitation, oscillation, tipping, friction, rotation and compression. As a result, washing with LG's Lava e Seca is much more efficient because it is personalized for each type of clothing, with high washing performance and without damaging the fabrics.
Finally, the company also highlighted the way Steam refresh, which allows deodorization, removal of bacteria and allergens. Models connected to the internet can gain 30 additional wash cycles to the 14 already available, all available via the app ThinQ of LG.
LG VC5 Wash and Dry

Available in capacity 12 kilos and in colors White and Titanium, this model does not connect to Wi-Fi networks, but artificial intelligence features and washing modes (including the quick 14-minute one) are available here. It also has a tempered glass door for greater resistance.
Despite not having Wi-Fi, the VC5 line has special artificial intelligence features and a fast wash cycle to deliver high performance, even in an entry-level product. Tempered glass, which prevents accidents in cases of impact, is also present in this more affordable model.

A Wash and Dry VC5 can now be purchased in Brazil on the official website of LG, with a suggested price of R$5.199. The company is also offering R$1 discount during this initial launch period and an additional R$300,00 discount if payment is made via Pix.
O Inverter Direct Drive motor, present in this and other lines launched today, also has a 10-year warranty and LG guarantees the repair of any problem during this time. Delivery for those who live in São Paulo is expected within 3 business days after purchase.

Wash and Dry VC4

Available in colors White, Stainless Look and Titanium, the VC4 line will be launched with 12 and 14 kilos. The model stands out not only for having the tempered glass and quick wash cycles of the VC2 line, but also for having Wi-Fi that allows the arrival of connectivity features.
For example, it will be possible to receive a notification on your cell phone as soon as the washing cycle is finished and it is time to take the clothes out of the Wash and Dry. A Alexa, from Amazon, can also be used to activate and also send notifications about the completion of the wash. When consumers migrate to the VC4 Wash and Dry line, they gain Wi-Fi connectivity and can control via ThinQ, including downloading up to 30 additional washing cycles, in addition to energy monitoring and compatibility with Amazon Alexa. Wash and Dry VC2

Completing the launches, the VC2 washing and drying line arrives in Brazil with a capacity of 14 KG, in the colors white, black stainless steel and stainless steel look. #ExWashers Campaign

LG's new washer and dryer will be publicized through a campaign called #ExWashers (former launderers, in direct translation). The company hopes to encourage the exchange of an old washing machine for one of the models announced today. For this to work, a partnership with ABREE to remove old machines from consumers' homes. In addition, it will be possible to have discounts of up to R$600 when making this conscious delivery.
At the event held today, the company entered into a partnership with artist Sparrow, in the customization of old washing machines. The main idea of the campaign is to show, in a playful way, new uses for old products, such as a house for pets, a minibar or even a potted plant for the garden. With this, consumers will have space in their laundry room to buy LG's new washer and dryer.

#ExWashers will be broadcast on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and even LinkedIn. The campaign also has an exclusively developed soundtrack, which will be released through the campaign video and audio formats on Spotify. The target audience is made up of people over 25 years old, interested in technology, decoration and sustainability, especially those looking to change or renovate their home.
