During Nintendo Direct, held in February of this year, the Nintendo announced the Booster Course Pass, DLC that would bring 48 new tracks from the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, among other novelties to the best-selling game in Nintendo Switch. And to the delight of fans, the first part of the additional content - which has been divided into six parts - is coming today (18) to the game.
All in all, the new DLC brings 48 new circuits divided into 12 cups. The clues are already known to fans, as they are remasters of the game's versions for Super Nintendo, GameBoy Advance, Gamecube, N64, DS, Wii, 3DS e Mario Kart Tour. Among the famous circuits are the Choco Mountain of the Mario barth 64 and the Coconut Mall originally launched in Mario Kart Wii. Along with the additional content, Nintendo has also prepared an update 2.0 that fixes some bugs and brings new features to the game.

The Booster Course Pass takes a nostalgic tour of Mario Kart history with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. With it, players will be able to race to the finish line on a total of 48 remastered tracks. In this paid DLC, eight tracks will be released at a time in six waves by the end of 2023. All are playable locally or online, with the first wave releasing on Friday, March 18th.

O Booster Course Pass can be purchased by R$128,00 on the Nintendo eShop, and is also included for free with your subscription Nintendo Switch Online + expansion pack, which includes games N64 e Mega Drive. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is currently available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

Fixes and improvements
DLC support
- Added support for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass (Wave 1: 8 courses)
- If someone in the lobby has the “Booster Course Pass”, all players can select one of the courses in the pass.
- “Friends”, “Wireless Play” and “LAN Play” modes are supported.
- Starting March 21, you can select Booster Course Pass courses in-game online.
- Support for “Worldwide”, “Regional” and “Tournaments” modes.
- Even if the player does not have the “Booster Course Pass”, he can play the circuits of the pass randomly.
General
- Shortened the time it takes for an Item Box to regenerate when taken by someone else.
Corrections
- Fixed an issue where a communication error occurs when 12 people match during online play.
- You need to download the latest update data to play online.
- If you download the latest update data, you will not be able to “Wireless Play” or LAN Play with other players who are using data from a previous update.
- The update data contains fixes for issues that improve the gameplay experience and other content not listed here.
- To download the update data, you need enough space in your system memory or microSD card.
