Xbox Live Opportunities and Marketplace
As mobile devices become more viable, such as gaming platforms, the presence of ecosystem on platforms like Android and iOS is becoming more and more crucial.
Combining this new SDK and streaming services like Project xCloud, ecosystem has the chance to tap into a huge new market, while also bringing traditional PC and console game developers along for the ride.
What changes?
The information was officially confirmed today by the company with the product GameStack.
With it, any game intended for these operating systems will be able to use Xbox Live's resources and online network, such as PlayFab, simplygon and Havok, in addition to the new features launched, which allow the creation of showcases of content generated by the users themselves.
With kit migration Xbox Live from the PC and Xbox One for Android and iOS with SDK development kit, developers can cross-platform, which allows you to share achievements, friend lists, clubs, activities and other familiar settings.
You will be able to select certain parts of the game and include them in your projects. For Xbox One, PC or Xbox 360 users, it is possible to use the same login and thus have access to privacy, security and children's accounts settings.
In an interview with The Verge, Kareem Choudhry, head of the company's Games Division said:
“We believe strongly in the community and Xbox Live truly being the heart of our gaming community. If you can see what we've done, especially with Minecraft, over the last few years we've brought Xbox Live to as many platforms as possible that Minecraft is on. We really bring these communities together with a unique experience for all these players.”

During the presentation, the ecosystem celebrated the growth of its cloud platform, which is now twice the size of its main competitor: Amazon. The company said it will continue to expand further.
A ecosystem wants to use its Azure services like PlayFab, Xbox Live and, soon, Project xCloud, to help developers reach gamers wherever they are, on whatever device they want to use. For now, the company has not revealed its partners in this regard.
As for the news related to the Nintendo Switch, the company said it had nothing to disclose at this time.
Microsoft already has some games that support Xbox Live on mobile devices, most notably via Minecraft, which requires an Xbox Live login on Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch. So far, the ecosystem reserved Xbox Live support on those platforms for its own games, but now, the ecosystem aims to bring Xbox Live cross-platform play to even more titles
