With an eye on this demand, the Olympus (which in 2012 even received an investment from Sony for the development of wireless lenses), followed the same concept as Sony QX10 to take its photography tradition from that transform for all smartphones from the market.
A Olympus Air A01 it's a lens wireless, which captures and sends professional quality photos directly to the cell phone, eliminating the need to be connected to any other device. With a Live MOS sensor of 16 megapixels, optical zoom of 3X and a weight of 147 grams, can take up to 320 photos per upload of your rechargeable battery. Furthermore, it works as a SLR camera, making it possible to connect any another lens of brand.
As it is a gadget designed for smartphones, there are various applications available to users: it is possible to add filters, control the intensity of colors of the images and adjust the focus of the device through extensions created by the Olympus. The company's plans include opening your platform to other developers interested in creating apps for the device.

A Olympus Air01 will be released in 2 models on March 6th in the Japanese market. The most basic version should cost $290 (about Real 800), while the model with a more advanced lens (14-42mm f/3.5-5.6) is priced at $425 (approximately Real 1200).
